Black Lagoon
Nice place to camp. Nice big site in a pretty area. Friendly cows made for nice visitors to our site. We liked exploring the property and finding the creek which is great.

Such a beautiful area, with nice shade, lovely animals and good fireplaces. Would definitely come again. A little gem hidden away!

Black Lagoon
Quiet spot in the shade
There is one thing that can't be controlled and that's the weather - it was HOT! The Black Lagoon site is very well maintained with the lagoon in view, lots of shade during the day and nice grass underfoot. We set up with very little levelling and the movable fire pits are great because the area is pretty much pristine. Lots of birds kept us entertained and the cows visited briefly to check on us too. We were free to explore the beautiful property and the super friendly host, Stan, called by to give us to low down on where to walk and provided a mud map to follow - no walking done however because of the heat, so we will have to come back. Directions to the site and communication was all spot on. We recommend the Black Lagoon as a great option for a relaxing getaway.

Black Lagoon
As camping should be
Absolutely amazing camp and I’ve been to a fair few. Not a stretch to say it was my top favourite. Lovely grounds. Heaps of exploring to do. I loved riding my bike up and down the long driveway and over the creek with my off leash dog running alongside. It’s exactly how camping should be.

Black Lagoon
Just spent two nights at Black Lagoon. Great well maintained site. Well sign posted and easy to access. Poured rain the first night but site drained well and ground was well grassed so didn’t bother us too much. Platypus Gorge also looked great so will try that next time.
