Yes: Rocky Creek Homestead is the venue for ""Camping with Goats"! Not only enjoy a quiet and lazy morning with a seasonal creek running along the outlook from your camp site, but you will also love our goats, and they will love you visiting, especially our goat named "Squirt", who thinks he is a dog. You will be camping with them as they roam around your camp site. We have 130 acres to explore and welcome caravans, tents and RVs. Later in the day you can walk or pushbike ride the many trails then perhaps enjoy a swim in one of the swimming holes (weather permitting). On dusk enjoy a wine, beer and some cheese by the campfire while watching the goats with their kids play. Mountain bike the many trails or walk around at sunrise to spot the many birds, wallabies, possums and the occasional koala as we are wildlife habitat. Guests are required to be fully self-sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under owners' control at all times. We are located 15 minutes from Toowoomba for shopping, dinning and 5 minutes to Withcott hotel or 10 to Murphy's Creek hotel both great country pubs. You will be camping with them as they roam around your camp site. We have 130 acres to explore and welcome caravans, tents and RVs. Pets are on request and must be kept on a leash and under owners control at all times. We are located 15 minutes from Toowoomba which has plenty of shops and restaurants to cover all your needs. Children under 3 are free.

Amazing camping spot, the hosts are both amazing people and were more than accommodating. Perfect place to take the kids and the goats are all pretty chill and friendly. Firewood on site is well worth the money and the site felt private even though a there were some other campers. Highly recommend 🙂

Camping with Goats

Great place for a relaxing weekend.

We enjoyed our stay at Camping with Goats. The river was sadly dry, but the goats were adorable. It'd a great place to stay for a relaxing quiet weekend, with animals t9 feed and learn about. There is open area for the kids to ride their bikes if they wish. There isn't really much for kids to do aside from follow the goats around and build rock towers in the riverbed if it's dry. This isn't a bad thing though!!!! The hosts are lovely and the camp area well maintained. We didn't walk to the dam, but it's not far from camp. I'd absolutely come back for a quiet adult weekend or with a group, where the kids can play together. Thanks for having us!
