Noosa Everglades Glamping Tent 1
Glamping in the bush
Glamping in the wilderness. Well equipped and comfortable. The weather was very wet so it was great not to have to lug our own tents and equipment snd set up and pull down in those conditions. Beautiful site and location. Gets very boggy in heavy rain, as does the road to the site but alternative forest tracks are easy and available, guided by the ever accommodating Nick.

Noosa Everglades Camp/Retreat
Beautiful location, and an adventure to get to (especially this Easter weekend after all of the rain). Nick (caretaker) is absolutely amazing. The toilet/shower was clean . If you prefer a glamping tent they have two and look lovely. The only dampener for us was the midgies/mozzies. Overall we would recommend. We would go back when it has dried out a bit. Met Deb, Peter and their family who were very friendly and helpful. Thanks

Noosa Everglades Camp/Retreat
A hidden escape (but some cons)
Was a beautiful campsite and one of the best and most well maintained I have had the pleasure of camping at. Nick, the caretaker is phenomenal! Nothing was too much trouble and had a great rapport with the kids. He organised and kept us stocked with firewood our entire stay, he made up special mozzie oil that he hung from the nearby tree for us, he cleaned the shower and toilet daily and was always there to chat and lend a hand. A few negatives though: - stop and get ice at Pomona! We thought we could ‘duck into town’ after we set up, but it is a 45min trip each way just for ice! - the write up does not state that you will need a 4WD to access the site, but you do! There is about 30mins of some intense dirt road to get there (including water over road, massive ruts and some very sandy patches). I was in an AWD and even then I considered turning back at one stage. Just be aware. - The dam is beautiful, however the rain has brought out all the toads and they were everywhere! In fact tens of thousands of toad tadpoles were hatched in the damn, so my kids refused to swim in it. So it made the stay very, very hot and uncomfortable. - Trampoline on site is unsuitable, kids did not feel safe on it as springs missing and it is literally tied to the ground to brace it. Despite these negatives, we enjoyed our stay and the quietness of the area. It was just a pity about the weather as we had booked for 5 nights, but left after 3 because of the rain and heat with no swimming.

Noosa Everglades Camp/Retreat
Beautiful site
The camp site was beautifully maintained, had gorgeous grass that is very well taken care of, the children could run around barefoot which was great. The shower and toilet facilities were the best I’ve seen camping. Nick was super helpful and funny, besides the rain, we really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful site.

Noosa Everglades Camp/Retreat
We spent 5 days here over the Christmas break with 5 families. Beautiful property and clearly very well loved and cared for by the brilliant caretaker Nick. Nick looked after us with all his tips, tricks, and knowledge and shared some good laughs and stories. The lawn, toilet, shower and facilities are all wonderfully spacious and clean and it doesn't get overbooked so there is plenty of space and nature around. Hope to return in the future. Thank you Noosa Everglades. Regards, Hayley and the family.
