Logan Park Farm is an historic 4th generation family farm with beef cattle and cropping set on the Logan River with beautiful surroundings in the Scenic Rim. The property was first settled in the 1840’s and became the headquarters of Tamrookum Station in 1878 when Robert Collins and his family purchased the property. "Murphy's" is a newly renovated three bedroom cottage which was once part of Tamrookum Homestead built by Robert Collins and family in the 1860s. In the early 1930s the homestead was taken apart and six homes were built from it including "Murphy's". In 2020 the Murphy family of Rob, Libby, Ben and Cameron, still living on the property in the current homestead across the road, decided to renovate the cottage. It is now a lovely reincarnation of times gone by with a flourish of modern amenities, including indoor dining with modern kitchen appointments, outdoor dining and barbecue, full laundry and comfortable bathroom. Beautiful sunsets, mountain views, birds and quiet surroundings. Enjoy the stars on a clear night. Explore the beautiful Scenic Rim area from here. Perfect for romantic weekends, family gatherings and wedding accommodation. It lies in a central position in the Scenic Rim’s menu of attractions, restaurants, walks and entertainment. The yard is fully enclosed and pet friendly.

Me and my friends loved spend new years there. Everything is so clean and organised, wifi available, amazing view and space. Libby has been so easy to communicate. I would definitely recommend and come back

AMAZING!!!!!!!

This place is amazing!!!! I highly recommend, such a beautiful home with everything you need for a cosy time away. I absolutely loved I could bring my dog as well. From sunrises to sunsets, the stars at night and the amazing bath we couldn’t be happier. 10/10 and will definitely be staying here again.

Gorgeous Getaway

Murphy's Country Accommodation is a stunning retreat! The house is beautiful and upon arrival, we noticed that everything was so tidy well prepared for our arrival. From freshly mowed grass, to firewood and kindling neatly arranged for our use, we were thoroughly impressed right from the get go. The views were nothing short of stunning as we watched cattle grazing in the sunset with the mountain ranges in the background. The accommodation is so well furnished with great quality appliances and kitchenware. Ample furniture and a huge deck meant that we were spoilt for choice when it came to deciding where we wanted to spend our time. The instructions provided told us everything we needed to know about our stay. There was ample space for our two dogs to run around and keep busy. Beaudesert Fair Shopping Centre was a short 20min drive away meaning we could easily get access to supplies. All in all, I definitely recommend Murphy's Country Accommodation and look forward to returning in future.

Amazing getaway with updated washrooms and kitchen, thoughtful amenities and ample space for dogs to run. The charm of this beautiful cottage and it's surroundings truly took our breath away. Highly recommended!
