Due to personal reasons Hopetoun Hills is currently unavailable and will re-open later in the year, however if you have stayed with us previously via Hipcamp please contact us via email or our mobile number that you would have, other than this we are closed at this stage and unavailable to take bookings at this time. We are a small 107 acre farm on the Great Dividing Range, just South of Toowoomba. Hopetoun Hills is a lovely tranquil place to relax with water ducks, kangaroos, wallabies and all sorts of birds in abundance, including the wedge tail eagles that come back to nest every year! Our property is only suitable for adults, due to the creek and dam you can camp by, electric fencing and stock . We do allow dogs, although they must be kept on a lead and/or contained for the courtesy of other guests, and we have livestock such as cattle, calves, horses and a donkey who don't take well to dogs if chased. There are many places you may choose to park your caravan, motor home or camper trailer, and the spacious room allows privacy if you wish to have early nights/early mornings and not be too close to others. We don't allow party groups or parties. We also provide a toilet which is serviced daily, and a bin for each individual camping group, and an information pack from the Tourist Information Centre if you wish to tour around the Darling Down's during your stay. We provide water from the main residence for campers staying more than a few days, or travelling on the road. You will require appropriate water jerry cans/drums/transportation to your caravan/camper. You can sleep with windows, doors and hatch's open (providing you have gauze) in the tranquil country setting. Your caravan is not visible from the road, or accessible without passing the main residence if you wish to be a tourist for a day or a few days around our beautiful town and outlying area's. We're less than a ten minute drive from Kmart / Coles / Woolworths, although when you're at Hopetoun Hills you would never know! There is so much to see in and around Toowoomba and the Darling Down's, from coffee shops, mural walks, bike paths through the beautiful parks and much more.Hopetoun Hills is a small 107 acre farm on the Great Dividing Range, just South of Toowoomba. It's a lovely tranquil place to relax with water ducks, kangaroos, wallabies and all sorts of birds in abundance, including the wedge tail eagles that come back to nest every year!   Our property is only suitable for adults due to the creek, dam, electric fencing, and stock. We do allow dogs, although they must be kept on a lead and/or contained for the courtesy of other guests, as well as we have livestock such as cattle, calves, horses and a donkey who don't take well to dogs if chased.  Our sites are mowed or slashed (depending where you wish to camp) and all camping areas are well maintained. We also provide a toilet which is serviced daily.  We do allow fires in the fire pits provided, however permission is required. There are many places you may choose to park your caravan, and the spacious room allows privacy if you wish to have early nights/early mornings and not be too close to others. We don't allow big party groups or parties.   You can sleep with windows, doors and hatch's open (providing you have gauze) in the tranquil country setting. Your caravan is 1.5 to 2km from the road, and therefore not visible or accessible without passing the homestead, so if you wish to be a tourist for a day or a few days around our beautiful town and outlying area's you can leave your caravan and not have to pack up, and your dog/dogs are safe to be left with your caravan if you don't wish to take them with you.   There is plenty to do in Toowoomba and the lovely country surrounding towns are a "must" as is "The Carnival of Flowers".  We're less than 10km from Toowoomba, and there are lots of bike paths and country roads to be be explored if you feel like stretching your legs!  You will require a 4wd if towing and AWD if bringing a second vehicle.

Beautiful camping at Hopetoun Hills. Peaceful country spot with beautiful views and stunning view of the stars at night. Maryann and her husband absolutely lovely to talk to and provided us with an amazing place to stay while we were in Toowoomba. Definitely coming back to camp here.
