Primitive camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Our property is located in the hinterland of the Gold Coast, nestled in a valley on a river with views of the local mountain. We are a 30 minute drive from Surfers Paradise, 12 minutes from Nerang where you will find all the food and supplies you need, and we’re 12 minutes from Canungra.
We are a horse property with a stunning river on our boundary perfect for swimming and floating in. The campsite is set on an open, grassy area surrounded by trees.
We offer three campsites set on very comfy grass with access to a big firepit. There is a BBQ on request, otherwise you can cook over the fire. There are dine out/take away restaurants about 10 minutes from camp if you don’t feel like cooking. The local corner store is 4 minutes down the road.
We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and drinking water. You must have your own amenities. We have a table for you to use when here.
We recommend 4WDs to access this property. The access road is a dirt/ gravel track to the grassy campsite. We only offer 1-2 night stays. Cars, vans, 4x4s, camper vans, caravans, swags, tents, beanbags welcome!
There is nothing to do but laze around and swim in the river or chill at camp so it’s a good place to unwind quickly. BYO own floating beds, books, badminton and board games. Bring your hammocks and enjoy a lazy weekend.
For animal lovers and families with little kids, we have a miniature horse that we can bring down for a meet and greet, take a photo and brush its fur. Please see our Extras.
Sorry no dogs or any other animals to be brought onto the property.
We love to accommodate families, so our campsites allow for up to 4 people, with up to 10 extras. we can accommodate 3 family groups but all must be the one group. This is an exclusive camp site as we don’t mix groups. ( no strangers camping on the property at the same time)Family and friends together and no strangers next to you.

No glass to be used. pls use paper or recycled products. no food scrapes in the fire or rubbish of any kind. pls take this with you.

We love to accommodate large groups , so our campsite is limited to 2 camp sites max. Most times it is only one group. We allow 4 people to camp for the base rate and $20/person after that up to 100 extras. If a large group books, we don’t take another booking it becomes exclusive. Work, corporate team building camping is a fabulous activity to do here. room for tug of wars and other team building activities. As we have horses here this is NOT a party property but for groups to escape the rat race in a safe, fun environment. Enjoy your music, loud is ok but down at 10 pm. Entry to the camp site is 1 pm unless arranged with is earlier. Allows for clean up and a mow if needed. With enough notice the camping area can be mowed very low for the ease of wheelchairs.
Sorry no dogs or any other animals to be brought onto the property. NO FISHING No washing in the river, our horses drink from that water. **This property is NOT suitable for children under 10.
Great property for work team building events either a day function or an overnighter. property can hold up to 100 for this sort of event. Mini busses or coaches are able to have property access. Message me for info if this is needed. We are also open to weddings in the paddock with only a few weeks notice. Can help with hire of marquee and extras on request. LGB Community welcome
