We are a tropical fruit botanical garden started 50 years ago on the banks of Gap Creek situated on the edge of the Cedar Bay National Park Queensland. We have fruit in season, cows, chickens and ducks. It is 7km to the beach and 8km to the shop. It is also possible to hike to Cedar Bay from this location. Safe swimming in the creek. Limited mobile reception.

Tropical Farm Stay Paradise
This is a beautiful piece of property and Amos is a wonderful host. The March Flies at this time of year are pretty wild, but to be expected, and thankfully diurnal. The campsites are wonderfully maintained and clean with water and limited firewood available onsite. There is little to no phone reception, but possibly internet access. The disconnect from technology is refreshing and grounding. The grounds are populated with various tropical fruit trees and plants including dragonfruit, pepper, vanilla, purple star apples, lychees and mangoes among other things, although these are all seasonal and not fruiting all year. It still makes for a great backdrop. Be prepared for a rough creek crossing to enter the property - Amos has it signed as 4wd only. We managed with a stock D-Max 4wd towing a regular (not off-road) camper trailer. We had an amazing time on our stay, would love to stay again and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks Amos!!

Absolute magic spot! Thank you Amos for sharing your piece of paradise with us. We wish we could have stayed longer! Fletcher 🐶 also enjoyed his stay making camp dog buddies with your little dog. Highly recommend a swim in the river to all that visit 🙂 Amenities were spotless! Stunning gardens, wildlife and serenity ✨️ perfect combo that made us feel well rested after a big travel day. Thanks again!

Loved staying here, was a really good stay with green grass. The amenities were very clean, lovely hot shower. The cows were very friendly and allowed us to give them a pat! Loved the walk down to the creek and also the walk through the fruit trees!

You will need 4WD to get in. Lovely peaceful spot. Fantastic setting and great orchard. When we are back up this way will definitely stay another five days to chill out.
