Deep Dime is a 400 acre cattle, fodder and irrigated grain farm. Our primary crop is Lucerne for hay. Creekside Camp (our main camping area) is relatively flat, well drained sites along a creek that usually runs. This area offers multiple composting toilets and wood powered hot water bush shower and outdoor bath. There is also a large permanent deep waterhole a short distance from this camping area. We have temporarily paused out Hill camp sites, due to continuing property maintenance and improvements. The Hilltop on our place is a lovely spot to watch the sunset with a glass of your favorite beverage, and even if you are camped at Creekside, you are welcome to walk or drive up to hilltop. Just remember we are a working property, so leave gates as you find them. Our place is an easy drive from wineries, large dams, Bunya Mountains, art galleries, state forests, mountain bike tracks, and scenic Kingaroy. We are dog friendly as long as dogs are not aggressive and well controlled.This is our main camping area with toilet and shower adjacent to the creek. The site is well drained and relatively flat with good access for vans and RVs. The creek has been running well and adjacent to the camp-site it is shallow and sandy. Great to sit a chair in and cool your heels. There is also a large deep waterhole 200m from the camping area for swimming. This area is secluded and tranquil with plenty of birdlife to be seen in the trees along the creek. Fires are allowed in designated area or in 'off ground' braziers or fire rings.

MAGIC CREEK CAMPING
A fantastic spot. The kids think there's magic in the creek because it sure does look like it. Beautifully maintained, great and easy set up.

Camping under the stars
This is our second visit, because we love it so much! The swimming in amazing - the creek is cool, clean and so deep you can't touch the bottom. It's quiet and the facilities are clean - nothing beats showering under the stars!! An added bonus this time was Darren gifted us freshly picked watermelon & rockmelon - it was absolutely delicious and the kids were stoked. We will continue to visit because it ticks all the boxes.

Tranquility and Ozzie country charm
For the epitome of peace and tranquility and for nature lovers this is THE place! Floating blissfully down the wide and picturesque creek, observing dragonflies, damselflies, water hens, ducks, kingfishers , tortoises and the list is endless playing in their natural habitat and at night the stars are simply stunning! Darren is a fabulous host and kindly shared cold watermelon with everyone at the end of a hot day which I greatly appreciated as my fridge had died ! Great basic amenities with all the country charm! Highly recommend this gem as it’s not far off the highway and a great price to experience a wee bit of paradise 😍

Bring the dogs to Deep Dime
Great place to take the kids and dogs. Deep swimming hole nearby, and nice little creek at the campsites. The owners insist on friendly dogs only, so the hounds are able to roam a little and play without concern. We had a great time.
