Our property is located in Sheldon, just 30 minutes from Brisbane CBD. We have a private camp site available at the top of the hill on the property which offers some views of the surrounding area. There is world class mountain biking trails accessible across the road from our property. You can also enjoy a beautiful nature walk up to the summit of Mount Cotton which has breathtaking views out to Moreton bay and to the Glass House Mountains. Your hosts recommend taking a picnic lunch and making the most of your time at the top. We are 15 minutes drive from the Venman Bushland National Park which has two excellent walking trails where you can spot a huge array of wildlife. Daisy Hill Conservation Park is also a short drive away which is a great spot for a picnic, has more great mountain bike trails, BBQ area and beautiful walking tracks. We are also close to Sirromet Winery which is great for wine tasting and sometimes has great events on. Campfires are permitted but must be kept in a fire pit/drum and must be outside of restrictions. Pets are welcome. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Please take all waste with you on departure. Note - absolutely no trespassing is to be tolerated, stay behind the rocks and fences and have a lovely stay .Our property is located in Sheldon, just 30 minutes from Brisbane CBD. Loved it!
We loved camping at Chris's place in our tent. Held up very well during a rain storm. The dam is beautiful! The landscape was gorgeous and we enjoyed the local walks wildlife, short trip to the local winery and Wellington point jetty! Highly reccomend staying here. Responsiveness from the host was awesome! We will be back!

Loved our time here when we wasn't being rained out of camp. Best bring sand bags if camping near the dam, as it's very rocky. Lots of tracks to wonder around and it's easy to find. Thanks heaps Chris!

The peaceful surroundings are just that, peaceful. The zip line that goes across the dam is fun for all ages. The camp site's are alway's kept clean. There is an abundance of tree's, so shade is not a problem.

Great place to relax close to city
This is a great escape for the weekend, so quite and lovely spot between the trees. Only thing is if you have a caravan it is a bit hairy going down and up the steep hill, also make sure you are very confident in reversing your van to line up the downhill run or the getting back to the top.
