At Carbean Camping & Farmstay you will get to camp at our large dam and enjoy a number of great activities. There are areas for bush walking, push bike riding, using model aircraft, land vehicles and boat, bird watching, fossicking and almost any activity one could think of, and of course star gazing. There is a bush toilet and bush shower available with water also provided. Fire wood provided for open fire pits and there is also a BBQ available. Carbean is in a Gold Mining region and allows metal detecting on the property as a whole with property access and map available at an extra charge. Hosts met us on arrival and were super friendly and were happy to share their knowledge of the area. They showed us to our site were there was plenty of firewood supplied, large maintained area with fire pit. Drop toilet was clean and maintained every day. Lyle dropped in each day to see if we needed anything and was happy to pass on stories of the property and the local area. Really impressed and will be back in the future.

The weather unfortunately was not the best for our stay but the camp ground was very well maintained with each Camp area having a very large space, a fire pit with supplied wood and a rustic table and seating. Our dogs could be off leash which they enjoyed immensely.

Carbean Camping & Farmstay
This camp site is unique situated with views of the wind farm in the distance. The camp area is clean and mowed with a very good drop toilet. There is also plenty of room at the site for activities and hikes or rides on the trails. I was there to photograph the night and it was perfect. Lyle and Sandy were welcoming and a wealth of local knowledge.

Great large camp area.
Great large camp area. All as described. The wood burns for hours! Bucket shower and long drop toilet. Great hosts. We had the entire paddock to ourselves most of the time - aside from many bird species, kangaroos and some cows in the next paddock.

Spacious bush camp
Five sites well spaced out. Had a real bush feel. Loved that firewood was supplied. My dogs were able to run around and enjoy themselves off leash.
