Site 2 - Hotel Villas del Rey Campsites
This was a really fantastic spot. I was skeptical because of the reviews but the guy doesn’t deal with Hipcamp directly so he doesn’t see the messages. He was very helpful in person and we had a great view for camping with our van!

Avoid!
1) host was unresponsive at check in, no one was at location where instructions said to check in.
2) campground site is NOT what is pictured on Hip Camp. No trees and majority of field was dirt with random broken state equipment.
3) did not stay do to the aforementioned issues

I was exposed to Covid and couldn’t go to the camping, I was been responsible and not spreading anything around. I wrote emails, texts, messages thru Hipcamp and never got any response from the owner. I was looking forward to it and requested to see if I could get a refund. But not even a “no” was given to me.
