A Caboose is a railroad car with accommodations for the train crew, typically attached to the end of the train, we've converted this into sleeping quarters for our guests. Our Caboose has a wonderful view of King Lake. Just outside its doors you can enjoy a bonfire, swim, fish or just rest and relax! Across the road, we have trails to enjoy all year round. We have a pedal boat, cedar sauna, and guided trail tours. We have about 100 acres and we are on-site and accessible at all times.

The property is about one hour south of the Lake Nipissing town of North Bay. There are trails that can be enjoyed year-round across the road, and the hosts offer guided trail tours. Off the property, Algonquin Provincial Park is a bit of a drive – about 80 km away – but is a large park with many lakes and hiking trails. Mikisew Provincial Park on Eagle Lake is closer and offers boating, paddling, and swimming. The town of South River is 15 km away and has some restaurants and shops.
