Winter camp
This was my second time going to Field of Birds. It was clean and dry (after significant rainfall). The outhouse is clean. The nature sounds and stars are amazing!

Great private spot!
This was our first Hipcamp experience and we are thrilled that we started at Field of Birds. The site was huge - room for our large tent, screen tent, and vehicle (plus about 30 more tents). The facilities worked perfect. The sounds of nature were relaxing too. Bugs weren’t bad at all. Lots of trout and bass in the river that was only a short walk down a beautifully maintained path.

Great place for camping
It was our first time camping and we loved it. I could not think of any issues we faced. We are obsessed with camping now. The campsite is huge. The owner lady is really friendly and helpful. There is a river close by, water was really clear and shallow.

Field of Birds
Nice open grassy spot with plenty of room. About a 7 min walk to the water on a on a well taken care of trail. The river is clean and the deepest I could find was about 3 feet. Water shoes are a must and there is a slight current. Once you pass the main house through a narrow road the site opens up but it's still very private. There is a outhouse and a nice firepit area.

Camping with a big tent
Campsite was plenty big, lots of places to walk, quiet and a river runs through. Joanna was responsive when we reached out for more wood and had it all prepared for us. Plenty of space for several tents, you won't be disappointed with all the natural plants in the fields. We would definitely camp here again.

Field of Birds
Exceeded expectations. The space was magical, quiet, secluded, and private. We really enjoyed our time there.
