This was our second time back and it was just as great! The heated blanket kept us nice and warm at night. Beautiful area, everything was clean and the outdoor space was really nice. Also enjoyed trying a couple different teas :) Melissa is super friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend!

Melissa was an amazing host, super speedy and informative responses.
Her property and cabin was beautiful, well maintained and perfect amenities. Everything she recommended to stop and see, eat and hike were awesome. The blue door cafe, vineyards and Virginia Kendall ledges hike to name a few were great. Her cats protect you in case you get scared!! Loved it! Definitely coming back.
Thank you Melissa!

Forest Cedar Cabin~ The Hannalore
Melissa was very kind and accommodating. She thought of the little things to make the stay more comfortable, such as an electric kettle with coffee/tea, extra blankets, and a jug of water. The land had plenty of space for short hikes. It was a nice place to unwind!

Fall Family Fun
My little family and I loved camping on Melissa’s land, in the Fairytale Cob & Redwood Cabin. While my son and I are seasoned campers, it was my niece’s first camping trip and we all had a blast! The property itself is amazing; varied in elevation and in plants and wildlife; giving the kids plenty to explore while I set up and broke down camp. Their hunt for Big Foot continues, but they think they have some hard evidence. The cabin is cozy and inviting, while allowing plenty of space for the three of us to settle in at night. The colorful glass and rock embedded in the walls surrounding the bed are so beautiful, and the cabin is lit up by natural light most of the day thanks to the roofing and many windows. There was plenty of water provided for our three day/two night stay, and the tea kettle was perfect for making a hot cup in the morning, and for oatmeal. We had plenty of outlets for small electronics, and there were also a few lamps for lighting different areas, as needed. The outdoor string lights are a nice touch as well. The fire ring made for the perfect place to relax after a long day of adventure, and we loved making up stories about the stars and creatures cut into the ring, whose silhouettes we saw thanks to the flames. We had all of the sticks and wood needed for the fire at night, and the kids had fun with their job of collecting them. They were justly rewarded with roasted marshmallows and s’mores. The restrooms are well maintained, and well stocked. The lights
