Learn more about this land: This is a forested area including trails and a wooded wetland. Campfire sight is provided as well as a port a john toilet. It is a rustic site with a small cabin and areas to pitch tents. The area where the cabin sits is all pines. Secluded area yet close to town. Easy access from State Route 33. Walk in or drive in depending on your vehicle you drive. The cabin consist of a fold out bed, table and heater. Propane is provided as is a rustic portable ice chest inside the cabin. For those that desire to shoot small handguns we do have a pistol range on the property. In addition we have elevated totally enclosed stands for wildlife observation and photo opportunities. Our site was rated as Tree Farmer of the year (2021). Lots of wildlife and again very private oasis in the midst of a growing rural community.This is a forested area including trails and a wooded wetland. A patio heater is provided near the picnic table. Propane is provided as is a rustic portable ice chest inside the cabin. A small quiet type generator is available if so desired for a very minimal cost, very minimal. For those that desire to shoot small handguns we do have a pistol range on the property. In addition we have elevated totally enclosed stands for wildlife observation and photo opportunities. Our site was rated as Tree Farmer of the year (2021). Lots of wildlife and again very private oasis in the midst of a growing rural community. Not advisable to pull trailers on the property unless they are of a pop up type or small pull behinds. Note: for those that prefer to hike in we can shuttle any equipment or provisions in free of charge. Parking of vehicles at the check in point is provided if one decides to hike back! Areas of interest close to the property is the highest point in Ohio. Ohio Caverns is near by and Mad River Mountain ski slopes. The Mad River is located nearby in West Liberty for those canoeing enthusiasts. Indian Lake is a 15 minute drive from here for boating, fishing and or swimming beaches. The town of Bellefontaine provides a variety of eatery's and shops in the downtown area. We welcome visitors to come and experience the nature and beauty of GreyOaks Tree Plantation! 937-549-1567

The land was great! We slept three in the cabin comfortably, and the heater came in very handy since it got pretty cold. Great spot to have a campfire, walk around and have a spot of land all to yourself. As others mentioned, Rt. 33 is nearby and you can hear cars if you're outside, but other than that it was awesome. Hosts were very hospitable and helpful.

Robert is a great host and his land is beautiful. We had a great time wandering through the woods with our dog. The property abuts 33 so there is a fair amount of road noise but there's a fence in-between so little safety risk for a trained dog. It's very private and a nice place to unwind close to the city and only a few minutes from downtown Bellfontaine. The drive in is grass and dirt so you may not be able to drive all the way in if there's been heavy rain or your car isn't suitable. Would certainly recommend.

Great Oak is a beautiful spot in the woods and Robert is a sincere host! It was perfect for relaxing near a campfire and eating a few s’mores with my son. We look forward to staying here again!
