The Ranch!, Nova Scotia

My family has lived in this area since the late 1700s. This particular piece of farmland I acquired from my uncle. The tipi in it's own little private area by brook is a new, but permanent part of it. Used to do horse pack trips in the rockies for several years, so stayed in them on and off during that time. Enjoyed them so much, bought one and set it up back in Nova Scotia where I have recently returned. My horses will be moving to the property as well. Visitors with be welcome to bring their own horses shortly as well. An abundance of trails are accessible from the property for hiking, at some, and horseback riding. Beautiful Gairloch falls less than 5 minute drive away.

24 diameter on a wood deck in its own secluded cleared area surrounded by trees next to a brook. It's set up so as to have a small indoor fire for indoor s'mores. Lie in bed and look at the stars.

Only a 2-minute drive to beautiful Gairloch Falls. ATVs welcome. Endless trails are accessible from the campsite. Multiple swimming holes within a 4 km radius. Will have horse corrals available soon for those with horses who like trail riding. Pet friendly. One horse open sleigh rides available in winter or come along as we collect sap with the horses during maple syrup season. Collect your own and make your own syrup at home! Year-round camping. .
