#10 Stoney Creek campsite
Inaccurate description/moldy tents
#10 tent didn’t match the description at booking. It was supposed to hold 8 people and have two queen size air mattresses. It did not and the mattresses there were flat, one had a hole. I tried calling the owner twice and finally got a response through text. The owner I never saw but he sent a man named Tim to help us (very nice, helpful guy) he tried to say I didn’t book the larger tent for 8 people but after showing him the listing agreed that description was inaccurate and they moved us to a larger tent-site 15. Tim helped us with blowing up the air mattresses in the bigger tent they moved us to, however one of the mattresses wouldn’t hold air well. The mattress had mold growing on it, as did the inside of the whole tent. We didn’t feel safe health wise sleeping in those conditions but had no choice as it was so late at this point. We had no sleep with the constant noise all night, cars racing by on the main road, people coming in and out with headlights shining, car doors slamming, dogs barking etc. We ended up leaving out early the next morning and not staying for the 2nd night we had paid for. If you had your own tent, no small children and just looking for a place to crash I would say give it a try but for our needs I didn’t feel the conditions or the environment were family friendly at all.

Needs Improvement
This year we have made many amazing adventures out of camping but unfortunately this was not one I want to put in the books. I would not recommend this place for people who want organized, clean, and quite camping. We started this camping on a terrible note by a crowd of people right beside our tent and this lasted for several hours. The spots in which we were supposed to park were full and we ended up have to park behind the tent due to another group not even 10 feet from our tent. The tent itself was dirty and had mold spots. The air mattresses were rough as well. We also didn’t realize until our second day that there was puddles of water in the tent and absolutely soaked our suitcase and electronics bag. Our final night included children screaming and with close proximity to almost 2 other tents ( one of which was only around ten feet away) we heard every conversation through the night. Then right before we left there was a dog who started jumping and barking into the side of our tent because they heard our dog playing. If you have a dog be careful the animals are not required to be on leashes so if your dog is scared of other dogs this place might not be for you and your furry friends. Side note we came into our tent for a quick second to get something and a cat followed us in and a random dog right behind.

BEAWARE !!!
Tents are moldy and hot . The tents are out in an old field no shade, only spots where there is shade the owner and creepy friend hangs out at . The friend never leaves you alone. Always trying to sale you something they grow. I left after 45 minutes, no way this place is worth charging 75.00 dollars I should get a full refund false advertising . Hopefully this helps others who think about going here to not go .some of these places need to be looked at by someone.

Stoney Creek Oasis Yurt Sites
Overall, I enjoyed my stay... I do feel the owner needs to do a few upkeeps. Clean the yurts exterior. Add another bath house. I loved the horse trailer converison and hope it has a workable sink soon. I never met the owner, but a gentleman staying there was helping out and was very friendly. He got me firewood and also closed up my yurt before a storm hit while I was away.
