Site 2 - Solar Eclipse RV Camp Direct Path
Ideal Location
I had a wonderful stay at this Hipcamp! The location was exactly as I expected, conveniently close to both restaurants and shops, making it easy to grab necessities or dine out. Just a short drive away, we found a perfect beach lined with even more dining options, which was a bonus. Our host was attentive, checking in daily to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. The Hipcamp itself was well-suited for our camper, with firm ground and ample space. I appreciated the thoughtful management and the prime location. I would definitely recommend this place and am looking forward to returning in the future.

Site 3 - Solar Eclipse RV Camp Direct Path
Nice spot in a cute town
Easy in and out, close to a bunch of restaurants, bars, and the shore of Lake Erie. The only drawback is that the spot is close to train tracks, but it didn’t bother me or keep me from sleeping.

Site 1 - Solar Eclipse RV Camp Direct Path
We stayed here for the 2024 solar eclipse. The host was friendly and the site was as-described. If you just need something simple, it's a great option. The property is also within walking distance of the town (15-20 minutes) and is a very short drive from Lake Erie.

Tent Camping With Creek Access
A really cute little property. Eileen was super accommodating and kind! The spot has noise pollution from the road so if you’re sensitive to that beware. But it’s so close to lake eerie and walking distance to a really nice and active main street. The lack of bathrooms makes things a bit logistically difficult for tent camping, but doable for a short stay.

What a great experience! This was my first time using Hipcamp, so I had no expectations. Eileen is a very responsive and gracious host. She made sure to show me a couple of areas to avoid due to dips in the yard, and pointed out the best location to be for a nice sunset view. The camping area behind the barn is two levels and she made sure that I was okay with staying on the upper portion, closer to the barn. She had freshly mowed prior to my arrival. There was a Porta potty across a side road from her place that I could have used if needed. Overall it is a peaceful area, with the sounds of an occasional train or traffic noise, but this did not take away from the experience or awaken me.
