We invite you to come camp on 77 acres of varied land. Woods, fields, swimming pond, hiking trails, goats, and possibly even other campers, although it's very private if that's how you'd like it. You may be perfectly content staying put, but if you seek small town offerings, Chatham (15 minutes away) offers restaurants, art galleries, a brewery, movie theatre, two bakeries, and some shops. We are half an hour from Hudson, and in the midst of plentiful Berkshire and Hudson Valley hiking, biking, antiquing, and sightseeing opportunities. Enjoy the big view from the highest corner of the big field. This is a sweet little campsite set in a birch grove with a view to the Catskills, and lots of wildlife. Two minute walk from your car, and a five minute walk to a swimming pond and a composting toilet outhouse. Near Chatham, New York where there is a brewery, cheese shop, bakery, restaurants, and a movie theatre. We are half an hour from Hudson, and in the midst of plentiful Berkshire and Hudson Valley hiking, biking and sightseeing opportunities. Early check-in and late check-out are often fine; just ask. *Special note for winter campers: depending on both snowfall and what you are driving, the parking locations may change. If we can, we will be happy to either ferry you via our 4WD, or help you carry your stuff in. The winter is really fun and beautiful. It's really nice here and we're happy to share it. LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: We are on the un-ceded land of the Stockbridge Munsee Mohicans. Black Lives Matter.

Birch Camp
A Winter Experience To Remember!
This is an awesome camping site. The view from this site is amazing! When the sun came out & shined over the top of the mountains it was just breathtaking. William was a total gentleman replying to all of my messages and giving me details and information about what I needed & what to expect. I arrived a bit later than I expected but I had no issues getting to this point. William was kind in letting us in. I will most definitely consider coming back here in the warmer season.

The location is on a beautiful hill. It was just difficult to find the advertised compost toilet!

Birch Camp
We enjoyed camping here very much. What a great place to end the 2023 camping season. William was very responsive and answered all our questions. The land and site were very clean. We never saw any wildlife (except the squirrels 🐿️) however there were a lot of tracks and droppings, as well as coyote cry’s in the distance. Just something to keep an eye on if you’re bringing dogs. Beautiful view over the mountains with a picture perfect sunrise/sunset. Very private location.

Birch Camp
The campsite was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the fall foliage! We loved the view, privacy, and peace of the surroundings. Bonus that our dog was able to run around off leash exercise during the day. William was communicative and made sure we had all the info we needed in order to have an enjoyable stay. The pond was sweet and the outhouse was well kept! We'll definitely be back.
