Riverside Hideaway
Beautiful Property
The Riverside Hideaway is a gorgeous camping spot for anyone who wants to get away, but not too far away. I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the property is, and how accommodating, and friendly the hosts were while I was there.
They provided a wheelbarrow to help take our things from the car during the short walk to the campsite. As well as a headlamp, wood, and a folding chair for nighttime.
I had such a great time staying here the first night, and there were hardly any bugs underneath the tree cover. So, I stayed another night, and plan on coming back to Awesome Acres for another getaway as soon as possible!

Riverside Hideaway
Secluded in the Woods!
Ken has a beautiful property. I camped at the tent site and it was extremely private, steps from the river and lots of trails to hike. The tent site is in a secluded section of woods with a well groomed trail to get to it. A picnic table, fire pit and a luxury thunder box make for a remarkable ‘backcountry’ experience without the backcountry travel! Ken was a remarkable host: met us on arrival, helped us load up our wagon and even loaded up his and walked us to our site and showed us around. All in all, a fantastic weekend in the woods. Far better experience than a typical campground.
