A beautiful 20-acre property with the Katherine River running along the back of the property, 10km out of Katherine and 16km from Katherine Gorge. Being in close proximity to the Nitmiluk Gorge National Park you can explore the Gorge and the Hot Springs as well as top up supplies at the Katherine Shopping centre. We have a number of sites, some with shade, some more out in the open, all fairly flat, and just a short walk from the restaurant and toilets. All sites offer plenty of space. There are also many lovely cafes to visit nearby. And we're only an hour away from Mataranka Hot Springs. We have toilets here but no shower facility. It is important to us that all travellers Leave No Trace.Enjoy the Katherine NT experience from a safe base, at our rural property, just 10km out of Katherine and 16km from Katherine Gorge.  Being in close proximity to the Nitmiluk Gorge National Park, you can explore the Gorge and the Hot Springs as well as top-up supplies at the Katherine Shopping Centre.  We have a number of sites, some with shade, some more out in the open, all fairly flat, and just a short walk from the restaurant and toilets. There are also many lovely cafes to visit nearby. And we're only an hour away from Mataranka Hot Springs.  We hope you will enjoy your visit.

It was a great camping spot lovely and quiet. Just the heavy rain made my uneasy but would recommend the spot

Lovely property and resturant! Sunrise and sunset were just stunning. Would camp here again. Christopher was really friendly and helpful.

This Hipcamp is the perfect spot if you’re staying in Katherine, NT. ✅ Unpowered ✅ Toilets ✅ Pets ✅ Bins ✅ Potable Water This camp is located: 21km from📍Cutta Cutta Caves,NT 16km from📍 Katherine Gorge, NT 10km from📍 Katherine Hot Springs, NT 8km from📍Katherine town centre, NT Chris has a restaurant on his property which is beautiful. Travelling full time, this meant we could date night (as camp is within restaurant view/walk). M5 Adventures recommends this.

Christopher was helpful and welcoming. Camp was basic and simple but adequate and there was plenty of shade. We didn’t try it but the restaurant looked busy and popular.

Handy location and bonus restaurant
We were very happy with our one night stop-over, we were one of only two campers, level site with the use of the toilets which are part of the building which houses a restaurant offering a high standard of fare if you're after a night off cooking, we certainly enjoyed our meal there. It is just a short drive from where the Katherine Gorge boat tours leave. Excellent and timely communication.
