Some sites are 2WD accessible via gravel or dirt road, and some sites require a capable 4WD particularly if you are towing a camper. All sites have lovely views. Campers are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Fill your days swimming in the creek, exploring the property on foot, on mountain-bike, set up yabbie traps in the dams, or sit back and relax listening to the abundant birdlife that calls Forestvale home and keep your binoculars and camera handy for the visiting wildlife including wombats and kangaroos. Forestvale Farm is a working farm and you are welcome to view whatever activities are happening during your visit, or head out beyond the farm gate to visit the Taralga Zoo, stock up on fresh organic produce grown by our neighbours, dine on hearty pub dinners in town, or fish for trout on the Abercrombie River just up the road. Campfires are permitted (subject to prevailing bushfire risk conditions) but please speak to your hosts before lighting one. They must be kept contained and at a reasonable size. Pets are welcome but must be kept restrained at all times to protect stock and wildlife. Guests will be asked to leave if their dog is not restrained. Please note mobile reception is limited in the Wiarborough Valley. What a great opportunity to switch off and enjoy your holiday. No hunting allowed.

Located just 10 mins from Goulburn CBD within the picturesque Southern Tablelands area, Wattle Run is a beautiful 100 acre secluded property with plenty of wildlife and spectacular views over the valley into Goulburn. We offer spacious nature based campsites around our property, some with views of the mountains, bush based, or in grassy cleared sites with dam views. Please note, to get to some campsites there is a farm track, we recommend 4WD or SUV to access those campsites. but plenty of campsites available for smaller vehicles also. There are families of kangaroos that live within the property as well as some wild rabbits and hares. Keep your eyes peeled for an abundance of wildlife like kookaburras, owls, parrots and ducks. Plenty more for nature lovers here, including bush walking and bird watching. We are located within 15 mins to Pejar dam for local fishing and kayaking (no motors aloud on the dam). Just 10 mins into Goulburn CBD for all the local amenities, including supermarkets and boutique shops and galleries. We also have a variety of local playgrounds and parks to wonder like the wetlands for more nature and wildlife walks. For the kids, we have our newly finished aquatic centre with splash park, and two bmx pump tracks and skate parks. We are located a short 20min drive to "Rambo" the big ram, which is on the list of big things located within Australia. Walk to the top and experience the local sheep industry history as well as shop local produce and giftware. Located a 20min drive west to the beautiful country towns of Crookwell and Taralga, where you can find country pubs, boutique eateries and shops or why not visit Taralga wildlife park for your up close encounter with some animals. Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working farm and protecting our wildlife is priorty. You MUST bring your own camping toilet and be COMPLETELY 100% self sufficient with everything including drinking water. We have a Leave No Trace policy, so ask that you please take all waste with you as we dont have a bin service. Strictly No Pre Booking tours of campsites allowed, a good description and photos of each campsite is available online. NO DAY VISITORS ALLOWED Campfires permitted when local/state government restrictions aren't in place. PLEASE NOTE at times Wattle Run has the right to enforce their own restrictions. We have lots of baby animals from mid-winter onwards so bring a camera. Pitch a tent, caravan or RV in our Hidden Valleys campsite and have access to nature at its best. Animals walk freely around the property and are very friendly. Bring marshmallows for fun around the campfire. This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. Campsites are a 5 minute walk from the main house and you have complete privacy. Elouera Vale is a working farm located just outside Mittagong NSW. We breed and train camels for sale, especially into the Southern Highlands. Camels are excellent for weed control and co-grazing with cattle. 'Elouera Vale' also breeds Belted Galloway cattle, Dorper and Wiltipol sheep and donkeys. Our property covers over 140 acres, 80 acres cleared and pasture improved and the rest consisting of forest. The Chain O Ponds creek runs through the property and makes for a lovely walk. You will probably get to see kangaroo, wallaby, wombats, echidnas, koalas and lots of bird life. The lush green hills abound with walking and cycling trails. You can head to the spectacular Nattai Gorge via the Box Vale Mine walking track, an easy 4.4km circular walk that follows an old railway line through a tunnel to breath-taking views. Enjoy a picnic in the magnificent Lake Alexandra Reserve or hike up extinct volcanic peak Mount Gibraltar. The closest shops are approximately a 15 minute drive to the Mittagong Town Centre where you will find all the shops, cafes and restaurants for your needs. Enjoy a pleasant wine tasting experience at Centennial (don’t forget to mention us). The Camel Cottage offers a luxe off-the-grid escape for couples just one hour from Sydney but feels like "miles from anywhere". The Gums Cottage is a fully contained, off-grid modern getaway, surrounded by the magnificent white gum trees that are its namesake. We have 4 very unique sites ranging from absolute luxury and pampering (including all food as a package) at our glamping lodging to just pitching a tent in a secluded patch of our cattle paddock. Every site is unique and special offering amazing views and experiences and although we do have several sites, you do have your own space to roam around and unwind. Fur babies are most welcome though please ensure your fury friend is good with other dogs as we do from time to time have other families stay with their dogs. We have access to the lake only 2 minutes from our farm gate. There is amazing fishing with Bass and Trout in the lake as well as non motorised sports for a peaceful getaway. We have 245 acres with an area of bushland and other lovely areas with scattered trees, plus some open areas. Currently we have a choice of camping areas for caravans and tents, some nestled in amongst the tree line. Other areas alongside the dam. We keep all the camping areas slashed for safety and to allow easier access to find a suitable camping spot. We also have a hut available in the bush area. This hut is secluded and has its own outdoor private toilet. All camping areas can cater for a number of caravans/tents if you’re travelling with friends. There is no shower, electricity or fresh water available, however we do have a flush toilet at the camping and caravan site. Campers would need to be self-sufficient otherwise. The hut has its own toilet available and is for people staying in the hut only. If the hut is booked prior to any campers booking, that area will be unavailable for campers. Please note we don't allow motorbikes, Quads or firearms on the property and there are no exceptions, sorry. We run 300 sheep on our property and have wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and echidnas. We also have farm animals such as cows, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, geese, and dogs. We have 8 dams, 3 of which have fish as well as yabbies throughout the year. Fire pits located in designated areas and only to used during non fire ban periods and to be supervised at all times. We're happy for you to bring your dog however you would be required to keep it under your control or on a leash and away from the sheep. It is a very peaceful location. Great for a group of camping friends or just on your own. No motor bikes, quads, firearms permitted and no exceptions. Please No diving off jetty Supervise children at all times. We offer two camping areas, that have enough space for multiple groups. One is higher up with great views, and access for caravans and camper trailers and the like. The other camping area is down by the creek but really only accessible for those with a 4X4, swags, rooftop tents etc. Plenty of fallen timber you are welcome to collect for firewood. Pine Gums is so close to everything but also feels a world away from everyone. From the time you pull in, to the time you leave, the experience at Pine Gums is peaceful, rewarding and one you will always cherish and remember. With so many people coming back time and time again, bringing friends and family, this really does speak for itself. This site was previously a pine forest and was harvested back in 2018. We are clearing some ground for grazing cattle while letting some regrowth come through for the wildlife. We have plenty of kangaroos, possums, wombats just to name a few and an abundance of birdlife. There is an undercover BBQ area with a built-in fireplace and gas BBQ. There is also a proper flushing toilet. At night, sit and listen to the sounds of silence as you glance up to the stars. This spot feels a world away but still has the convenience of being only 10 minutes off the Hume Hwy and only 20 minutes from Goulburn where you can get all your daily needs. There is plenty of firewood laying around the property for the campfire so bring your saw, cut some wood, and just enjoy. No firewood is to be taken off the property. 50 acres with segregated paddocks housing llamas, horses, friendly sheep and a variety of chooks. Hand feeding of the animals can also be arranged. We also have two child-friendly Maremma sheepdogs (a livestock guardian dog). We also have our own family dogs, a lhasa apsos cross miniature poodle +, and an Australian deerhound cross bull terrier who, are both very friendly and adore attention. There is a covered BBQ area and toilet/shower block. Outdoor massage and meditation using crystal bowls and gong are available (to be booked in advance). Mandala painting workshops on the property can be arranged. Other workshops can also be arranged. Tuena, a 1860s gold mining town, where gold still can be found in the Tuena Creek, is 26 kms (30 min) drive away. There is a typical old style country pub "The Laggan Pub" is located in the small settlement of Laggan, offering excellent meals (Friday and Saturday nights), bookings are essential. The pub is located 26 kms back toward the main township of Crookwell, which is only 35 kms away. Crookwell has many attractions, including an Alpaca Farm, and is host to many local events.

Yerrinbool is 1 hour from Sydney and a great spot to spend a weekend away, 15 mins from Bowral and 10 mins to Mittagong There are animals on the farm including ducks, chickens, goats, sheep and sometimes even baby cows. The property does need a little clean up but the rear of the property is nice and tranquil. We are directly next to the HWY so sometimes there is road noise, but it's a great location for an easy stopover. Easy access for caravans, keeping in mind the weather as like in all areas it becomes soft when wet. Please note, while we do permit more than one car per site booking, we only allow 1 caravan per site. So if you are in a group with more than 1 caravan, you will need to book multiple sites. Any questions, please let us know. We have Fire Pits in key locations around the farm PLEASE DO NOT move them as they signify each spot for camping. They have allocated spots and we do not need them moved. We also have a toilet in a small cabin close to the house for people who are using tents and water if you're required to fill your tanks or rinse off. We have two dams with yabbies you are welcome to collect. If you do collect some please be respectful in the amounts you collect and also throw some raw meat and or frozen veggies like peas and corn into the dam to provide food for the others to grow. Firewood is available to purchase at time of booking - see Extras.
