Morpeth Glamping
Relaxing camping space and we had an amazing fire pit compared to others. Could easily fish from high bank but no direct access into river need to go to Morpeth a short distance to get into the river. Friendly hipcamp owners.

Morpeth Glamping
Overpriced for what you get, its just a paddock you cant even see the river and access to it is very limited

Easter Weekend in Style
We spent the Easter long weekend at Morpeth Glamping / Oscars Retreat and loved it. Perfect weather and such a lovely spot on the river. Watched a few boats go by with kids on tubes enjoying the day, while sitting around a fire with friends. Lynda is a lovely host.

Very relaxing
Great spot close to a little village called Morphet and close to the old Maitland city centre. Also very handy to the vineyards. We took the opportunity to visit the pepper tree vineyard for some wine tasting. Very nice

Loved it !
Absolutely amazing spot! Right on the river. Absolute peace and quiet with amazing views and sunset over the river. The hosts were amazing and very friendly. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area. Make sure you bring a fishing rod as there are fish everywhere! The Morpeth town is a gem as well.

Morpeth Glamping
What a great place to escape! Our family of 4 had an amazing couple of nights at Oscars retreat and we would happily stay here again. Nice grassy flat campsite with a fire pit right by the river, we were placed away from another camper so we both had some privacy. Yes the water is a bit lower than ideal, it is a river after all! Was still able to wet a line hoping to catch one of the fish taunting me jumping in the river. We had a fire and had a nice couple of nights under the stars, couldn’t really ask for more! Nice and close to town for a counter meal or to explore the local shops.
