Easter at Old Bara, what a pleasure
Old Bara was a great last minute find over Easter. We especially appreciated how much space there was between campsites on a very busy weekend. The toilets were particularly good and clean and would definitely stay there again!

Camp in Mudgee
Wonderful hosts and beautiful property! We camped over Easter and has a fantastic time. Each camp is in a designated area with fire pit, with plenty of space between sites. Drop toilets easily accessible and very clean and tidy. Highly recommend this place for an escape to the country (whilst only being 25 mins from Mudgee and vineyards)!

Beautiful Property
Great campsite for the Easter weekend. Yes, it was busy but everyone was well spaced out. We were on the Back Emu site and had loads of room for our caravan. The whole campsite was organised and well maintained, with an easy going atmosphere. The view from the picnic table area over the valley was incredible. Sally and Richard (and extended family) are great hosts. Thanks for having us on your amazing property :) would definitely visit again.

Great hosts, Great location
We spent the Easter Weekend 2024 at Sally and Richard's Farm. The drive was well worth the trip. Sally and Richard were professional and approachable from the start. As hosts they were faultless, the description of the site was spot on, they also went out of their way to make sure that we were welcome guests. Sally and Richard were happy to share the story of their farming which is fascinating for city people. We were there on one of the busiest weekend's of the year with over hundreds of guests there at the same time. We were welcomed as though we were their only guests. A great spot with great hosts and good amenities.

Camp in Mudgee
The owners are nice and helpful, making it a great option for large groups depending on your preferences. The property is spacious and accommodates over 200 people during busy holiday periods like Easter Break. The sites and groups are spaced out, with distances ranging from 20-30 meters in some areas. Very clean sites. The view from the picnic table (ask Richard about it) is stunning place to watch the sun set.
