Binghi Station Located approximately 4.5hours from Brisbane, Queensland, or 1.5 hour drive west of Tenterfield, New South Wales. Binghi Station, once a large sheep station, was a thriving tin and gem mine from the late 1800 to mid 1900. Set on 4,000 acres of natural granite rock country and untouched overgrowth of lush tea tree bushlands, the sheer beauty of the land will, without a doubt, leave you breathless of its raw natural beauty. Binghi Station surrendered to the ravaging bush fires of 2019, however, after this devastation came some much needed rainfall which brought hope; the creation of new life in the form of rich, vibrant green country not seen since the 1980’s. You can explore endlessly on this raw outback property. Discover secret hideouts, come and enjoy a swim under our flowing waterfall (for those brave enough to during the winter months!) and simply relax and soak in pure wildlife beneath a million stars in the night sky. We strongly recommend access by 4WD only as the entry 6klm driveway is rugged and very bumpy in most places due to heavy rain fall past 12 months. Please ask for more details if necessary should you have any concerns based on your equipment. Its an ongoing maintenance. The Secret Gorge site is suited to swags, tents and camper trailers. It is not suited for Caravans over 15' due to a tight corner. Other site locations are suited to off-road 4WD caravans and camper trailers. Binghi Station - an extraordinary place to make some truly wonderful family memories. :-)

Site 1 - The Secret Gorge
What a location!
This place is definitely worth the money! It’s isolated. Its peaceful. It’s beautiful. And no phone reception (which is a definite positive!) It has a gorgeous swimming area and heaps to explore. When you book the secret gorge, you get it to yourself. There is plenty of room for a big group. Although we only had a small group. Adrian was away when we were there but I believe it was his parents house sitting for him. They were absolutely lovely. Not heaps of flat ground but you can make it work. It has a toilet and a shower, nothing fancy but they work. (Toilet space was a little messy when we got there, possibly from previous campers). Unfortunately previous campers also left a bunch of stuff behind so we just neatly placed it to the side. The bins were also quite full when we got there but just enough space to put our rubbish in. Needless to say, those couple of things aren’t exactly negatives to turn people away. This place is still an amazing location and we would love to come back and explore the other camp sites. This was a perfect getaway for my birthday. We appreciate the effort Adrian and others put in to allow us all to have amazing campsites. Thanks for having us! Hopefully we can be back again soon!

Site 1 - The Secret Gorge
I stayed at the secret gorge while on a adventure bike trip and absolutely loved the place! Amazingly beautiful location that's very private. Adrian and his wife were really helpful and even helped me out with some fuel because I miscalculated the distance to the next town. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy a piece of secluded paradise. I will be coming back soon

Jump'n Rock
Jump N Rock
We had the best weekend at Binghi Station. We stayed at Jump n Rock and Adrian went above and beyond to help get our 19ft Off road van down to our site. The swimming holes a perfect and the camping sites are well maintained. We will definitely be returning for future stays. If you’re after a 4wd adventure this is a great place to go.
