Primitive camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
This is not a farm. It's a spot where you can park for awhile if you can dry camp. It's narrow to get past the gate so you just need to be careful. Learn more about this land: Primative . Primitive camping
Ignore the woman who left a bad review. This place was pretty cool for the price. A little sketch coming in the gate but overall a larger property we were able to camp in our suburban. Unfortunately some incredibly rude Californian people took over the entire property the second night like a bunch of entitled pricks. But you need to get the address ahead of time before you go. It is on the website here. Nice fire pit for a fire and lots of privacy. For the price you can't beat it being that close to asbury park.

Camping in Solitude
Had a nice adventure riding my bike and staying in my tent. So long as you come prepared with your own water, bucket, lantern and portable phone charger you’ll be okay. There’s a Walmart, Aldi & a bike repair shop a mile away which came in handy. Saw some deer nearby too. There’s an abandoned house and van on the property but ultimately it just adds character. For $20 a night this campsite is a great deal!

Really can’t complain about the price! And the location was perfect for being close to Asbury Park. it did feel a little sketchy pulling in late - especially because the space isn’t very big for two parties. But ultimately had no issues with my neighbor for the night and slept great!

Simple and primitive
Simple, peaceful, quiet, and primitive. Camped here for one night only to catch the surf in the morning. It was the perfect little site that fit my budget. The old house was quite eerie at night but really neat too.

Paid and no address. Could not go.
I was very much feeling excited for a night away in nature. I paid for the space and the host responded that he has no cell service. I paid and was not able to go with no address. I immediately requested a refund through hipcamp. A few days after the night I was scheduled to go, I received a message through hipcamp number, from the host. He said he had sent me the coordinates for the space. I responded that I did not get anything from him or I would have went. I have not heard from hipcamp pertaining to this issue of a refund.
