Learn more about this land: Gorgeous Lake front tent camping with 360 degree views with access to horse and OHV trail system that spans miles! Bring yourself or bring the whole crew with plenty of peaceful and easy going space to go around. Great access to often windy hills to fly a kite. Perfect access for lake kayak and SUP boarding. There is a perfect 3.1 mile hike around the lake that can be taken as fast or as slow as you wish with plenty of spots to have a break and take in the views. The Soda Lakes are two lakes located northwest of Fallon, Nevada. They occupy two basaltic maar volcano craters which may have erupted in the last 1500 years. The larger lake, called Soda Lake or Big Soda Lake, is somewhat elongated, stretching 2 kilometers (1.2 mi) in length. The smaller one, Little Soda Lake, is 200 meters (660 ft) across. Considered to be a single volcano, the combined craters are young enough that future activity can't be ruled outGorgeous Lake front tent camping with 360 degree views with access to horse and OHV trail system that spans miles! Soda lake desert oasis - boondock
Beautiful lake view. Brayden was very personable and helpful. We and the dog had a lovely evening sitting by the campfire and enjoying the sunset.

Host Brayden is awesome!
Our host was the most accommodating and helpful host ever! Our son has selected this location as a last minute, let’s take the kids somewhere this weekend, option. Then I was communicating with Brayden about the accommodations, if we could get an RV site near our sons tent site. Brayden got us all set up. When we arrived he even guided us down to our site. On day 2, we got a flat and Brayed was able to give us enough air to limp into town, meanwhile windstorm came in, blew sons canopy into the fence and Brayden went and helped him remove the tattered remains. If you like desert camping, this is your ticket. We did bug out early because of wind, tire and then catastrophic electrical issue in trailer.

Great host
Wonderful host, greeted us at arrival and showed us where the bathroom was. We could have had a fire if we weren’t so tired and needed to sleep as he had wood for sale (very cool!). The sand was SUPER fine like a powder, good to know, use tarps on the ground to protect your tent and stuff. Totally had nothing to do with his awesome hosting, but good to know.

Desert oasis
Beautiful desert camping with big skies and a gorgeous sunset. Lots of birds come to visit the lake. Brayden was very welcoming and quick to communicate. It’s the desert, so no shade, lots of dust. Be prepared and you will love it!
