Fully furnished Bell Tents set amongst ponds and reed beds in Mid Sussex. Wild swimming, campfires and exploring in a beautiful farm setting. The tents are set on the top of the valley, with amazing views, beautiful sunsets and around 20 acres to explore. There's a communal stretch tent at the heart of the site, with mains power and a few home comforts (Fridges, a freezer, kettle and a toaster). There's plenty of games, sports equipment and even a table tennis table to keep you and your children occupied while they're at the site; as well as our famous swimming pond for those who like wild swimming. The tents themselves come fully furnished, with Z-beds, bed linen and basic crockery provided. We have 3 x hot showers and a converted house box with 2 flushing toilets inside.

Idyllic weekend at Holmsted Himalayas. Such a gorgeous setting, well equipped tents and site and plenty of local activities. Highly recommend.

Lovely views, clean facilities
Overall good experience. Big, rowdy group who kept shouting and were oblivious to others which kept everyone up until 2am so this probably blighted our experience. Disappointing not to have the breakfast box as that was one of the reasons we chose the site. Clean facilities which was good but no warm water! Children loved the firepit and lake for swimming.

Great Glamping spot for kids
I highly recommend glamping at Himalayas Holmsted. We stayed two nights and it was the perfect escape from London life. The highlight is the pond , especially kids kayaking on it. My son loved the fire ( fire wood and lighters provided at small cost). The tent is spacious, the shared tent has everything that you need to keep food and drinks cool, games, kettle.. it’s a lovely social spot to meet others and watch the kids plays the bathrooms and toilets were always clean. Though you are on a farm, you can still hear the traffic noise…

camping in style
Such a perfect 2 nights stay with our children (5y & 3y) The site was perfectly nestled on the side of a west sussex hill overlooking the valley with beautiful country views. we had access to a perfect swimming pond which is clean and refreshing. There are life vests for the young ones and can hire out kayaks. Our tent was super spacious with a little crate of crockery and a torch for those late night loo dashes! The toilets were fab, as were the showers with plenty of running water and drinking taps. The communal tent has electric points for charging, a fridge and freezer available for all to use, a few comfy sofa's with view over the lower field, where the children seemed to gather and play around the swing ball and badminton sets. The site was regularly checked upon by the lovely Josh and regularly cleaned. We will be coming back soon, I am sure!

Good communication prior to arrival. This was our first time ‘glamping’ so wasn’t sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. Kids loved the swimming pond and the communal stretch tent with Fridge/ sofas and some games great when it rained. Each tent had own fire pit. We borrowed the BBQ to make our own bbq over the fire pit and to make toast/coffee for breakfast…perhaps if each fire pit had its own grille each tent family could use them for cooking. Over all we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Great place to stay and relax with enough comfort to not be 'camping' and the swimming pond was a lovely bonus. No complaints from me, I'd love to have stayed longer.
