Welcome to Roads End Mid-West farm: This farm is in an ideal location for guests who rely on bikes to get around, since it is practically on the Katy Bike Trail. A short 30 minute bike ride away, Downtown Saint Charles; offers so much to do and see including: art festivals, brewery's, rock-climbing gyms, shopping, nightlife and much more. To get here, guests can fly into St. Louis Lambert International Airport and catch a quick 25 minute lyft ride to the farm. Want to spend 5 days, biking along the famous 200 mile long Katy trail? Borrow a bike a hit the gravel Katy trail which passes right beside the farm. The farm is located only 42 minutes away(by car) from the lively downtown Saint Louis so you have the ability to explore the zoo, listen to blues and jazz and explore the culture and arts of the city. Guests will be delighted by the cool, quiet mornings; warm, calm afternoon; and in the evenings enjoy a breathtaking display of color that saturates the horizons and permeates the soul with joy. Guests can take a rest in the shade, beneath the giant, 200 year old river-bottom trees which have grown huge over the centuries due to the silt deposits due to flooding. If you like biking and want to get back to nature, this Homestead is unlike any other and is a gem in the fertile soil of Saint Charles County.Sleep in one of our many hammocks beside the river and Enjoy the sounds of birds, wind, and water. You can use the basement shower to get the sweat and dirt off after biking along the Katy trail. Our farm is located along the Katy trail, just north of Saint Charles. It’s a 40 minute bike ride back into Saint Charles so I recommend eating in town before coming out to enjoy the peaceful nature.

Amazing little homestead to stay at

The site was clean and peaceful. They were very welcoming and it was much better than we even anticipated. The only issue we had was it was difficult getting out of the driveway (very steep hill and I don’t have 4-wheel drive) so the second night we parked before the driveway. Jordan was hospitable and made sure we were familiar with the area. Highly recommend!!!
