Camping, Fishing, Hunting, Hiking, Snowmobiling, ATVs... The possibilities are endless! Enjoy our rustic campground 2 miles off of Hwy 11. Access to Lake Of The Woods (53 min), Rainy River (10min), and Rainy Lake (55min), all within an hour's drive. Minutes away from Franz Jevne and Nelson's Landing boat launches, onto the Rainy River. This campground has NO sewer/toilets (except the outhouse) but does have two 20 amp outlets for campers. There is plenty of campfire wood on the ground, and you're welcome to burn in designated areas, only, please. This campground boasts trails located on the property and is surrounded by state forests with miles of trails. Manitou trail is located just a 1/4 mile from the property for hiking and ATVs. Additionally, if you're looking for a hunting or fishing camp this fall, this campground would be a great home base for you. Out Of Farms Way Campground

What a great location. There is power available. The host left firewood for us to use. There is a nice picnic table there. Where we told Paul (our host) the Canadian border guards had confiscated our eggs, he came back and gifted us some fresh eggs from his own farm. What a nice, nice person.

Out Of Farms Way Campground

Absolutely loved it! Private, quiet, peaceful. Nice wooded area. Mowed trails were great. Lots of room for dogs to run. Dogs found Ruffed Grouse which was a fun bonus. Electrical (110) was a huge plus. Plenty of firewood. Nice fire pit. Fabulous in every way- 5/5 Gold Stars!

Out Of Farms Way Campground

Great little campground in the wood

This was our first Hipcamp experience and we could not be any happier. Paul and Brandy are great hosts. They went out of their way to make sure everything was plowed out and ready for us. Quick response and always easy communication. "Out of Farms Way campground" is a must stop. They are one of the very rare spots for the exploring winter campers like us. There are showers available at Nelson's store just down the road(small fee).Thank you Paul and Brandy, we are looking forward to our next stay
