Midgard Mountain is an organic permaculture farm and mountain rainforest landscape located inside an ancient valley in the Byron Bay hinterland close to beaches, rivers and villages and located one hour from the Gold Coast and airport. A range of fruits, herbs and vegetables are grown in gardens and orchards to provide seasonal supplies of produce used on farm for food, medicine, cosmetics and building projects. Mountain spring water flows out of the forest to nourish people, plants and animals and Midgard is home to goats, sheep, chickens, cows, bees and a diverse range of wildlife. Various sites for camping offer valley views and access to a communal shared building with a kitchen, lounge, wifi, toilet, outdoor shower, outdoor bath and firepit. Options include either BYO tents or hire camping equipment. Various on-site and nearby activities include options for: Rock-hopping along the creek lines Swimming and sitting beside natural pools Forest bathing - exploring trails and sacred spots in the rainforest Animal interaction Meditation Campfires Bird watching Foraging for edible and medicinal plants Star gazing Outdoor bathtub Outdoor movies + more.Valley View camp site overlooks a subtropical rainforest valley under the highest peaks of the Byron Bay shire. Access to a nearby communal building is included and has kitchen, lounge, wifi, toilet, shower and outdoor furniture. Guests can enjoy the space, the land, rainforest and visit gardens, animals and permaculture systems. Within the valley lies fresh water creeks, swimming holes and waterfalls and there are nearby villages, markets and the rivers and beaches of Brunswick Heads and Byron Bay.
