This mid-century horse farm property is being transitioned into a perennial plant nursery with a focus on delicious fruits, pollinator flowers and medicinal herbs - with silvopasture cows, sheep and more underPitch your tent on level ground at the foot of beautiful hill, looking out onto a green pasture, home to a couple of sweet and personable Jersey cows. This location is very quiet and secluded, but is near a railroad which often has occasional nighttime use. We recommend ear protection for sleeping if you're a light sleeper.

Gorgeous spot to park my car and camp in my roof top tent! Loved waking up with the cows and the sheep and the hosts were lovely and communicative.

Kids would love the animals!
It is such a beautiful spot! The drive was very picturesque once you got off the highway and the trees with the changing colors were beautiful! Once we got there we were instantly relaxed. The donkeys came right over to us and the sheep even escaped the fence to come near our tent. There is a train that drives by right behind the woods so definitely bring ear plugs or a sound machine to sleep but it was a really cool sound. It feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere but there is a gas station and convenience store within 5 minutes if you forget anything! We didn’t bring our kids with us but we kept thinking how much they would’ve loved this spot!

Misty's Meadow at Turtle Bend Farm
Staying at Margaret's was amazing. We loved camping next to the animals and we felt like we were alone. Margaret was available and we could contact her if we needed but we didn't interact personally with anyone --which was great. We hiked some trails that were super close too. Bring folding chairs! Would definitely stay again.
