Once owned by a locally self proclaimed pirate our beautiful seaside yurt will give you everything your looking for in a nature getaway. Our property is right next to the internationally famous Cobscook Bay State park. Within a stones throw, you can find a boat launch and the most breathtaking views. Not only is the spectacular seaside yurt on south Edmunds road gorgeous it is private. You will be able to listen to loons while tucked into the gentle field of wildflowers or hear the waves lap up against the rocks as you roast marshmallows on the firepit. Alex and I are avid conservationists and stewards of the land. We hope one day to make this place our forever homestead with our growing young family. Our campsite is located less than a mile from the famous Cobscook National Park, 15 minutes to gorgeous Lubec and only an hour and a half drive to Acadia national park. Be the first to see the sun rise at Quoddy head or go sea kayaking from the public boat launch .5 miles away. Your peaceful campsite sits on the bay with 200’ of shoreline and 2 acres of dreamy meadow. The secluded site includes an outdoor seating area on the water, fire pit, free parking and a one of a kind luxury yurt with a big comfy bed. Enjoy watching the wildlife from the seaside oasis under wise old pines or picking wildflowers in your own private field. SPECTACULAR SEASIDE YURT

Fantastic location

The location was spectacular, right on the water and conveniently located for hiking at Cutler Coast, Quoddy Head, etc. Linda shared helpful information about the area. The yurt smelled a bit musty, but that was probably unavoidable after recent storms.

SPECTACULAR SEASIDE YURT

Yurt is truly right on the sea! On a road with other houses, but set back from the road and feels quiet and really private. Our dog, who's easily anxious, loved having a space to herself to roam around. Loved going down to the hammock in the morning to sway with the sea breeze. Fire pit was excellent with an easy grate for cooking. Dark nights with stunning stargazing. Appreciated that Alex and Linda left some cooking supplies and games. Because it's so close to the bay, the bed did feel a bit damp at night, but otherwise comfy. We were there early Sept and definitely still quite buggy. Otherwise, weather was nice this time of year - not too unbearably hot during the day, a little chilly at night, made it even nicer to huddle around the fire. Though we didn't use it, nice to know there was an option for showers at the state park nearby.

Great stay!

I loved the spot. Definitely an upgrade from tent camping. Directions were clear and very quaint spot! Very peaceful and well kept. I hope to go back again!

Absolutely beautiful spot. We were there to escape the rain and the yurt was dry and comfortable and absolutely lovely. A magical place!

SPECTACULAR SEASIDE YURT

This stay is wonderful! It is in a private little field, I was there when wildflowers were blooming and it was beautiful. There was a hammock right down on the coast perfect for afternoon naps, and it was in a wonderful location.

SPECTACULAR SEASIDE YURT

Beautiful!

We had the best time! What a beautiful spot. It was a great base camp for our adventures around the area. Very quiet and private. The hosts were very accommodating. Would recommend to anyone going camping in the area and I’d definitely book again.
