Here at Healing Tree, we have intentions of peace, love, and happiness while developing a positive connection with all life. This is a residential 7 acre property in a quiet and safe neighborhood. We live in the 5 bedroom old farmhouse where you can use the bathroom if needed (until the outdoor outhouse is built). There is one tiny home on the property that might be available to camp in soon or be rented via other sites. We have a new and developing veggie garden. There is a small stream and community fireplace by the 4 first come, first serve campsites at the rear of the property. A tent can be set up anywhere on the 7 acres and does not need to be in the designated campsite area. Car camping, van life and RVs also welcome! Another firepit is closer to the garden. There are some lightly wooded areas, apple trees, a pear tree, and open field for more future gardens. We are pet friendly and there are cats and a dog that currently live here. I am a Reiki Master and can potentially offer healing sessions if that is something you may be interested in. I also travel a lot as a DJ and audio tech and might not be here, but have a self check in process and video I will send. Also, roommates are generally here. Maine Savings Amphitheatre is 15 min away (concerts in Bangor). Acadia National Park is just over 1 hour away. Bangor and Bucksport are both about 15 min away. Fort Knox is about 20 min away. From the campsites here, the road and house are not visible.
*At the moment, this is rustic camping in the yard. This is not a campground or upscale facility. Please be ready to be self sufficient and sustainable in any weather. Well water is available and passes all tests - pure and safe for drinking. I am very flexible and accommodating to ideas outside of "the box", just message me.
There have been several wonderful campers who have stayed and enjoyed themselves, some have left amazing reviews. Thank You. We have hosted up to 20 people at once and as few as 1. Sometimes we get campers who are going to a concert in Bangor which is awesome. Any hours coming and going are fine!
Enjoy a peaceful and private stay. đPitch a tent in designated camping areas or anywhere in the yard. Car camping and RVs are fine too. There are wooded areas with shade and open areas with full sun. Half of the yard is a pine and birch forest.Â
**This lisitng is at my home in a residential neighborhood. However, this town is very peaceful and country-like while being 15 minutes drive to town. Enjoy views of the night sky without light pollution. Deer, turkey, birds, squirrels, and other critters frequent the land. We have apple trees and a variety of plants here. There are two fireplaces. One community 4' stone fireplace down by the 4 campsites and small stream, and another closer to the house. Parking is by the house and probably on grass.Â
This is basic rustic camping with shared use of the house for a bathroom if needed. I will also provide well water. The walk from the house/parking to the campsites is maybe 3 min. It is possible to drive down to the lower campsites in good weather, but survey the land and your vehicle capability first. It's about a 10 min walk (.5 miles) to Orrington boat launch where you can swim or boat. There is a new and developing veggie garden on the property. I am a Reiki Master, and can potentially offer Reiki healing sessions for an additional fee.Â
I am also an EDM DJ, audio technician, and work another job full time. I travel frequently and may not be here. Self check in is likely, and if I am here, I can greet you too! There are roommates who live in the house also.
Coming to Bangor for a concert or event? Stay the night here - late hours coming and going are ok with us! Also, take respite in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood on serene land.
Thank you!
