This was once a self sustaining farm built in the 1950s. The farm raised cattle, pigs, chickens. There was 35 tillable acres which produced corn and oats for the livestock. The farm had its own feed grinder in the old barn. There is an old hand built cooler room where all the meat was stored. There are four wells on the farm one of which is used for watering animals and cooling alpacas on hot summer days. One of our tent sites is in the corner of our alpaca pasture. You'll hear the roosters, goats, donkeys and more than likely, Rose, our Maremma livestock guardian dog, throughout your stay.

Chinquapin Tent Site
Tracy was a wonderful host who stayed in contact leading up to and during our stay. She met us upon arrival and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Her property was a delight to camp on and her animals a treat to engage with. It was just what we needed for a quick getaway for a couple days of camping and hiking (at Forest Glen Nature Preserve)

Fantastic stay!
Top rate experience! Our host went above and beyond with hospitality. We had a great time unwinding at the fire pit behind the bath house. Tracy was so kind! The land is peaceful and beautiful- and easy to reach from the interstate. We had so much fun meeting the ANIMALS! They were all friendly and adorable! Great stay!

Very unique spot for a fun, animal filled camping experience! Helping with chores, feeding the goats and getting to know some very charismatic alpacas were just icing in the cake of a great camping spot. Thank you Tracy for running a beautiful farm!

Camping with Animals !
Aris Farm is such a special peaceful place. Had a lovely campsite by the fire Tracy kindly started for us before we arrived. In the morning she gave us a full tour of the farm and property. Such a special place! I recommend to anyone wanting a zen place to connect with her sweet farm animals.

Farm Zen!
You most do this!!!
We had the most amazing weekend at the farm. We stayed in the Alpaca field and hung out with all of the animals. Excellent for kids - even teenagers. My 15 year old loved it way more than staying at our regular camp camp site in Turkey Run. We cannot wait to go back! Tracy the host was so amazing. Always available for anything we needed. Highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
