Welcome to The Bullock Ranch in the heart of The Owyhee Canyonlands, we look forward to meeting you. We are a small 5 acre ranch located off Hwy 78 (45 mins from Downtown Boise) with many outdoor recreational activities nearby. We have 2 dogs named Breezy and Cinder who will greet you upon arrival and we have three horses named Clyde, Grease and Partner. Sancho is our wonderful friendly miniature donkey who will be begging for scratches and lots of attention. We also have free range chickens and a friendly rooster named King Henry who will get your morning going! We hope you book with us and enjoy your stay!!
Here are some nearby attractions: Wilson Creek Trail Head for mountain biking and hiking, ATV access right from the campsites, Givens Hot Springs and CJ Strike Reservoir just a few minutes away. Spend a day up in Silver City and enjoy the old mining history, ATV access. The Owyhee County Historical Museum is 2 miles down the road and is amazing depository of history, a must see. Mountain View Motor Rentals in Murphy has ATV rentals available to enjoy. Take a short drive and try to catch a glimpse of the wild mustang herd nearby.
Campsite Descriptions: We are only offering 2 sites at this time. We have a level tent site and a RV site with 30 amp electrical hook up. We do charge $5.00 a day for electrical hookup. Round about drive way for easy access of trailers. Campfires will be allowed except in the case of a burn ban. We will have 1 open fire pit at site #1 and 1 covered fire pit available for use at site #2. Please bring your own firewood. Refunds: We will set the refund policy for 100% up to 3 days prior to check in. Please do a check on the weather outlook at least 3 days before you arrive to see if the weather will be nice for at least part of your stay. If you cancel within 3 days before your arrival, I am sorry but the system won't provide a refund. If you need to cancel, please cancel at least 3 days prior to your arrival

Sweet Pepper Ranch is a small-scale horse ranch in the high desert of southwestern Idaho. We are nestled in a rural agricultural setting yet close to stores and conveniences. We raise and train horses and work all day to exercise and train our horses as well as run the day-to-day aspects of running a large horse property.
Our equestrian facilities include individual paddocks with attached runs (12’ x 52’), automatic waterers, feeders, rubber stall mats, a 200' x 300' outdoor sand arena, a 72’ x 120’ indoor arena, two round pens (one large), numerous trail obstacles, large-scale permanent outdoor obstacles, an outdoor washrack, as well as parking, port-a-potty, arena bleachers, and picnic table areas.
Nearby activities abound from visiting rodeos and wineries to trail riding at sunset near waterfalls or hiking painted desert canyons. There is plenty of hiking near by, a reservoir and river where you can enjoy those sunny days. We also have horse friendly reservations that can be accommodated. Please know that this is a working micro-ranch stocked with cattle, horses, occasional goats and some curious wildlife critters.
Very ATV/OTV friendly area, plenty of gravel roads and trails for those seeking adventure. Places to mountain bike, hike, we have snowshoes for rent as well as kayaks.
Enjoy a stay in a traditional cowboy range teepee, places to park your camp trailer, or camp spaces for your set up. We are very flexible on how you would like your stay to be, we just appreciate communication before hand so that we can offer you the best stay. There are two indoor facilities on the property; a traditional cowcamp, 2 bedroom stay, equipped with bathroom facilities. Then we also have a small one room bunk house with a wood burning stove.

You can see the wok making process from start to finish and schedule a family dinner experience right in The Goat Yard. We have horseshoe pits, corn hole and ladder ball for some extra entertainment. Owyhee County is full of outdoor activities that are right in our back yard, rivers, hiking, waterfalls, fruit stands, lakes and much more just mins away.
