Great camping for Yellowstone!
This was the perfect spot for our trip to Yellowstone! It was a quiet and peaceful space to relax after long days out exploring. We also took Mike’s advice and went to Henry’s Lake State Park and saw two moose! Our first ever moose sightings, so that was amazing. We also walked over to the Buffalo River to let our dog swim a little bit and it was gorgeous. Highly recommend this Hipcamp!

Very secluded, large campsites, pretty area. Not much around for food, but if you’re looking to feel out in the country it’s perfect.

Buffalo River Landing
Amazing property and great host
This is an absolutely incredible site with a stunningly beautiful view up and down the Buffalo River. The property is beautifully developed and perfect for an RV/trailer - flat and level gravel pad, amazing views, perfect fire pit area, with beautifully made steps down to the river. Amazing fly fishing for small brookies and rainbows. Eagles, herons, and lots of other wildlife and we never saw another human. Incredible seclusion about 25 mins off Route 20 down well-maintained graded dirt roads. Silence and stars were amazing at night. Mike was super responsive and friendly throughout the booking process and during our stay. Knowledgeable about the area and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 — would love to stay again. Highly recommend for anyone who loves the outdoors and wants to get away.

Great place! Having unlimited access to firewood was a plus! No water connectivity, but understand that’s in the works!! Definitely a good “getaway” place. A small dumpster would have been nice to have, but we managed. Really enjoyed the weekend!!!

Beautiful and Quiet
Can’t say enough positive about our stay. It’s very easy to find, completely wooded and we even had some Moose walk through! Plenty of room for our 2 RVs, could probably fit a couple more if you wanted to. No water (but Mike said hopefully by the end of the month) but there is a public dump and potable water station and Last Chance fishing access maybe 5 miles away that is easy in and out and not busy. Endless supply of firewood for 10 bucks a day is an absolute bargain, we spent hours around the awesome fire pit. Not too far away from anything you’d need but it feels like you are. I saw another review that said it was in the middle of a neighborhood, that isn’t true, there are some cabins around but with all the trees we didn’t even notice them. Nice and clean porta potty was on site for use. Will 100% be back next year, despite a rainy weekend we couldn’t have lucked out anymore with this site. I didn’t get to meet Mike but he stopped by when I was out and checked on my wife and mother in law, and he restocked firewood twice. Highly recommend
