1 site ¡ RV3 acres ¡ Burley, IDLooking for a stopover place with plenty of wide-open space? Maybe our site will be a match for you and your RV!
Our house and shop and a few other outbuildings sit on 3.5 acres on a dead-end dirt lane, and we have space we'd be open to sharing with you.
We have three friendly dogs who are generally free to roam our property at will (lab, Yorkie, pug-chihuahua cross) since we have an underground fence system, but they will generally be indoors with us since they will insist you are here to visit THEM. (Must love dogs. âĽď¸)
IF YOU HAVE DOGS, please keep them on a leash and clean up after them appropriately, thanks!
We have two areas for parking your unit. The side yard and the back âyard.â Depending upon the size of your rig and the status of irrigation on the back acreage, we will help choose which location is best for us and for you upon arrival. (Weâll keep in touch about this.)
Back âyard.â â- The back half of our property (triangle-shaped) is almost completely unoccupied except for the massive poplar trees that line the west border. The trees are home to at least one great horned owl, hawks, an occasional pheasant (my fave!), other birds, and squirrels. The area youâll park in (dry camping/boondocking) is like a big back yard since I irrigate and mow it. No neighbors in the back of our property except livestock from time to time as well as a small group of deer (pretty rare). While we arenât riverfront property, you can see the Snake River from our back yard (where youâll likely be parked).
Side yard. â Several trees and some shade. There are some branches to navigate but there is ample space to choose an adequate parking location. This site runs alongside our driveway so our vehicles will be in your area, but your extra vehicle(s) can also be parked in the driveway for easy access. (This is our less preferred spot for you and primarily would be utilized when I am flood irrigating the back property.) It has much less privacy because it is near our dirt lane and in between our home and our neighborâs shed (but they are family).
Being almost next to the Snake River, and having a natural marsh just to the North of our property, mosquito repellant is highly recommended during certain times of the year.
We are just a few miles (5 mins or so) from the freeway, Walmart, restaurants, and public access to the Snake River (boating, fishing, swimming), and golfing.
