Tips for Snagging a Campsite Reservation
- Reservations for all campsites are open year-round and can be made up to 13 months in advance.
- Due to its popular location and limited capacity, campsites fill up fast. Reserve early to ensure a spot!
- If nothing is available online, call the park headquarters to inquire about last-mute cancellations.
When to Go
Sweetwater Creek is beautiful to visit any time of year. Enjoy warm weather and lush greenery in the spring and summer, see changing foliage in the fall, and catch the fewest crowds in the winter. Kayaks and other boat rentals are only available during the warmer months.
Know Before You Go
- Yurts comfortably sleep six, but bring your own linens, towels, cooking materials, and utensils.
- Yurts include a deck and two adirondack chairs, plus outdoor electrical outlets.
- Campsites include a fire ring, a grill, and a picnic table.
