My name is Laura Schlup and I have raised my three children on our property for the past 23 years. We are on 1/2 acre in a residential area. I live on the main level of our home, we short term rent the lower level year around. We have a nice flat area on the south side of our home that we have used for years to drive through and store our family's RV. This space goes unused most of the year. If you have a reason to stop over for a night or more, we'd love to share our space with you. We have a fenced back yard that includes a fire pit, grill, and play structures. If you are interested in using this area, please let us know. Welcome to Falcon, Colorado, we hope you enjoy your stay. This RV campsite is a long flat space located to the side of our home with 20 and 30 amp electricity hook up and water available (May-September only). A neighborhood soccer field, basketball court, and park are 1/2-1 block away. This is a residential neighborhood, therefore generators may not be used. You may share the back yard with our family which has a 16x20 deck with grill and seating. The yard includes a trampoline and play set.

Excellent overnighting
Great little spot for a night near Colorado Springs! My trailer is lifted so I had no issues at all getting it over the small residential curb. Do bring your leveling blocks as other campers have mentioned. Electricty was very nice for running the ac during a hot night and as some white noise to drown out what are just regular neighborhood noises that should be expected when camping in a spot like this 😀

Not ideal for the unprepared
There's no curb cut to get into this spot, just a couple logs stuck in the gutter as a makeshift ramp, so backing into it might be a challenge. We had a very hard time getting our tow dolly off the road because of this. The spot itself is soft dirt and not level so bring platforms for your leveling jacks. The water and electric hookups are on the right side, not the left, and your rig's shore power cable probably won't reach so bring an extension cord and at least 75ft of water hose if not 100. The neighbors are not friendly so make sure you don't give them a reason to get mad.

This camp spot worked great. In a nice neighborhood, w parks, walking, quiet. Parked our 19' pop up in the grass area and had a good night.

High Plains overnight
Laura was an exceptionally accommodating host! Enjoyed our stay, very quiet, private. Nice level space. We especially appreciated the electric and water. We would definitely stay again. Our tiny camper is very low clearance, and it was a bit tricky getting up to the curb, but all went well. Thank you so much, Laura!

Peaceful
This is a backin site with a curb to hop to get in, but we didn't have any trouble getting our 35 ft fifthwheel into place. It was a bit uneven so bring blocks, but the location was nice and private, great for a stop thru the area, it felt safe and our hosts were very kind and good communicators. We'd love to come back in the future!

This was a very affordable place to stay while we were in between locations. It was quiet and peaceful and gave us what we needed to get by. It was quick and easy and Laura answered questions promptly. Would stay here again.
