There's so much to see and enjoy right here at the sanctuary, we have over 100 rescued animals who can't wait to meet you and maybe bum a snack from you too. If you get bored, there is plenty to do nearby: Goldhead Park, a paved Bike Trail, Jacksonville, St Augustine, High Springs, Ocala and Gainesville are all within an hour's drive. Melrose is quaint and rural. We don't rush here. Except at feeding time! You'll get to experience that too. We can't wait to meet you! You'll come as a guest and leave as a friend! (please make sure these are turned off when not in camper)!You will have access to an amazing outdoor kitchen, fire pit, fishing poles, canoe, and kayak. Please return all item as you found them! This lake is great for swimming, and bass fishing.The outdoor kitchen has microwave, coffee pot, grill, large cooler for you to use to put food in. There is a table and chairs in the screened in kitchen area. There is wifi however at times its spotty.PETS MUST BE APPROVED! I have chickens so IF approved they can be put up. I also have two small dogs on my own.YOU MUST CLEAN UP AFTER PET!Absolutely ZERO smoking inside camper. You may smoke outside however make sure you dispose of butts in trash can NOT IN CAMP FIRE. 🔥 We recycle! Please only put cans and plastic bottles in recycling.
