Peaceful setting with amazing vistas on the river with the gentle whitewater rapids, wildlife, and stunning sunsets. Lots of close outdoor activities (hiking, white water rafting (Section 8 and 9), tubing, horse back riding, bicycle, motorcycle and ATV rentals close by, guided fishing and hunting), yummy restaurants (fine and causal), regular music events, fun shopping, local brewery, and many ongoing local events. Marshall has a Super Ingles (groceries), a natural food market and an excellent bakery/pastry shop. Bring your fishing gear, canoe, raft, and SUP (Section 7) to use right at the site. Marshall has great restaurants (fine and causal dining), art galleries, fun shopping, local music options, local brewery, Supermarket (Ingles) and a health food market. Bring your own fishing equipment, canoe, SUP, tube or raft with direct access to the river on this property (Section 7). Many outdoor activity offerings are very close by (professional whitewater outfitters for Sections 8 and 9; horseback riding; bicycle, motorcycle and ATV rentals; tubing on Section 7; hiking; guided fishing and hunting). Site location: 25 mins to downtown Asheville, 25 mins to Hot Springs (AT trail, hot springs spa), 35 mins to Wolf Laurel (snow skiing).

French Broad Sunset

We had a wonderful stay at French Broad Sunset! The location was perfect for some events that we attended in Asheville, and for doing some fishing around Hot Springs area. We enjoyed the location so much that we came home and booked another stay for later in the year. Ann was very accessible for questions that we had, and provided information regarding things to do and see in the area. Highly recommend it!

Our stay over Thanksgiving was wonderful! Will definitely be returning in summer to enjoy the perks of being right on the French Broad River. The host are also wonderful with great hospitality. Site is level and very easily accessible.
