When the farm house was built in 1909, the cabin was already here. We bought the weed patch with the intention of starting a flower farm.  It was a cattle feed lot years ago and the soil should be very fertile. We'll use the composted manure in the Spring.

Farm land off I-76 and Hwy 6. Set up camp under old cottonwood trees, between the wild plums and spruce trees. 31267 Road U, Brush CO 80723. Prewitt Reservoir and Elliot State Recreational Area nearby. Sunsets and sunrises are spectacular. See the stars at night. Wake up to the rooster's crow.  We have alfalfa and corn to the north and grasslands to the south. Outhouse/port-o-potty is available. The train adds to the country feel. Irrigation ditch runs at least two days a week.  Our chickens are friendly and used to dogs.  Site #1 is better for small vehicles and tent camping. It is more protected.  Site #2 is better for large RVs and trailers.
NEW 9 hole disc golf course (the Octagon) on 5 acres. Located down the road from nationally recognized Optimist course in Ft Morgan CO.

We have owned this land for 20+ years. Over the years, we have acquired a menagerie of animals that make our homestead unique. We currently have a peacock, goose and guinea, several goats, three mini horses, a dozen chickens, and 2 dogs.

These are our pups. The larger one is Cletus, he likes playing frisbee. And the smaller one is Boots, he is a unique character. They are both extremely friendly. In the back of this photo, you can see the building that has the chicken pen attached.

This building is the chicken pen. In the Photo, you can see the pen and the geese roaming around in front of it. The hydrant for the chicken pen campsite is located right next to this building.
