The perfect size for 2, the trailer is fully equipped with all the basics you'll need for your stay. Enjoy golden hour sunsets on the plant filled patio with an abundance of lounging options as well as a big bbq and outdoor shower!
The trailer is on the side of owner Tamarra's house and has a neighbor nearby on the side but is otherwise very private. You will have your own entry and private outdoor patio. Mount Washington is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Walk up the hill to the self realization center on a sunny afternoon. Their beautiful grounds are often open to the public to visit and are a great place to meditate. Hip and fun Highland Park neighborhood is just a quick scoot down the hill and has lots of great bars, boutiques, and restaurants. The Gold Line Metro is also located at the bottom of the hill and offers an easy and convenient way to get across town and avoid those congested LA freeways!

I was introduced to the delights of Glamping at El Capitan in Santa Barbara which was amazing and I wanted to stay there forever!! -- BUT with a busy city life of raising kids and building my own small food business -- I wanted to jump from
Glamp-life to
City-life (and back again)
with more ease and share it with others.
In my opinion, the beauty of So-Cal living is that you can literally spend the morning surfing in Malibu and that same evening find yourself
skiing in Big Bear! (After 25 years of living here -- that reality still amazes me)
To mirror this unique juxtaposition - at La Boheme, you will find a tranquil Safari Tent Glamping experience - with hiking/biking trails and all sorts of outdoor activities anywhere from a 5 minute walk to 30 minutes away by car---- but you can also hop on the Gold Line train (which is a 1 minute walk out the back door) and in choosing one direction, you are a couple of
stops from Chinatown or Downtown LA's rich cultural experiences & exciting nightlife. If you decide to explore
in the other direction, Metro's Gold Line (in 1 stop) will take you
to the heart of Highland Park's bustling scene -
offering a smorgasbord of eateries, coffee-shops,
speakeasies, boutiques, yoga studios
and art galleries - including LA's oldest bowling alley: Highland Park Bowl.

The dominant plant communities within and around the ranch create a diverse mosaic, including chaparral, coastal sage scrub, coast live oak, Engelmann oak woodland, riparian habitat, and ephemeral wash habitat. The undeveloped foothill and mountainous terrain within the Angeles National Forest to the north serve as the core habitat for large mammals and birds. Wildlife movement within and through the ranch features daily and seasonal patterns for both large and small vertebrates, with shaded canyon bottoms acting as vital corridors. Regular wildlife sightings include bobcats, coyotes, bears, deer, rabbits, squirrels, and a variety of birds.
In the developed portion of the ranch, terrain can be steep and uneven in certain areas, with dirt pathways that result in dust during hot summers and mud during the wet season. 20 acres of beautiful land. 360 views of mountains and ocean from every point on the property. There are many flat areas and nooks for camping found throughout the property, as well as a yurt, a double-decker bus, and an airstream.
You enter through a iron gate and first come onto a big central flat pad with ocean views overlooking Saddle Peak and the San Gabriels. There are two 40 foot shipping containers on the flat pad, one of them is a fully functioning kitchen with windows looking out towards the ocean. There is wooden furniture outside so you can lounge and enjoy the views in front of the kitchen.
If you continue down the drive to the right of the central flat pad, you come down to a point that looks straight towards Saddle Peak. On the way to the point you will find a double-decker Crown bus and an Airstream that can accommodate campers.
At the end of the point there is a 20ft diameter traditional Mongolian yurt complete with wood fire stove and wraparound deck.
If you go back up to the central flat pad and continue on down the drive to the left, you will find more beautiful and secluded spots down by the well house. There are a few meadows to explore as well as the ever present view of the ocean.
There is plenty of wildlife around the property including deer, bobcats, hawks, owls, ravens, foxes, rabbits, and much more...
On this vast property there are regular camping and RV spots as well as a yurt, a double-decker bus, and an airstream for campers.
