I fell in love with this piece of property years ago, and finally was able to build my dream home here. I rescue unwanted dogs from certain euthanasia who have been abandoned or abused, and provide them a forever home.  Now I want to share my beautiful wooded property where they can run, swim, investigate, play, and enjoy a free-range lifestyle. Campers and their canine family members are welcome to come and enjoy the outdoors.Beautiful secluded camp site close to Indian Creek in Genesee Valley. Located next to a farm-to-table restaurant with Napa Valley wine. Activities available all summer long; including the Silver Buckle rodeo, numerous biking events, running events, Plumas County Fair, and the annual Quincy Music Festival on July 4th.The campsite affords access to thousands of acres of public land for horseback riding, off-road vehicle use, canoeing, tubing, swimming, wildlife viewing, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and is all pet-friendly. The area is surrounded by numerous lakes for fishing or recreation. This campsite is only 17 miles from Antelope lake, a popular destination. The campsite is located in a beautiful wooded area, includes a firepit, a portable toilet, and is pet-friendly. Campers must know that there is abundant wildlife, so pets need to be supervised. Pets should not be left outside at night.

Genesee Camp
Lovely private campsite in the woods, a short walk to the river. There was plenty of firewood and the portapotty was spotless. Our dogs LOVED being able to explore off-leash. Would recommend!

Genesee Camp
This place is incredible!! Kristine’s campground was perfect and spacious in a beautiful forest. She was a wonderful host providing chopped fired wood for us, fire-pit, and tables/chairs. The creek was refreshing to jump into on site. Will definitely be back again for more adventures/fun!

Perfect Camping Spot
Wow, what a trip that was! Thank you so much Kristine for having a place like this available for use! Very private and comfortable location. Loved that there is sand around the immediate camping area. It made it very comfortable to be barefoot. My dog couldn’t have felt more at home. We absolutely adored everything about being there. Our only regret was not booking it for longer. Family friendly, clean, close to river and off leash dogs are welcome! I have NOTHING negative to say whatsoever. We are going back for sure! One thing that should be listed is, what an amazing beautiful drive it was to get there. Very enjoyable trip from travel to stay to home. I have never felt so comfortable camping. Can’t wait for next trip.

Genesee Camp
Camping with kids AND dogs.
Easy to get to (you’ll probably want a 4 wheel drive). We loved the proximity of the water, the CLEAN port-a-potty, and ready tools for the fire. Our dogs ran free with no issue, there were no other people there :). The site was clean and there were many options to pitch our tent. We would totally come again with more family and friends! Thank you, Kristine!
