With views to the east and west of the Humboldt County mountains you will never be disappointed with the sunset and sunrise. Take a walk on our trails through the woods. While on your way to the creek, stop and enjoy some forest bathing on one of our custom made benches. While at the creek enjoy two swimming holes and a park-like orchard perfect for an afternoon picnic. Then enjoy your evening with the cool breeze from the oceanic air as you sit on the porch soaking in the quiet comfort of the surrounding woodland. This property can only be accessed by 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicles. The terrain of the property can be quite steep and my not be suitable for someone of lesser mobility. Sadly this is the price we pay for the peace and beauty the property has to offer

Salmon Creek Mountain View Cabin

Studio with great views

This site was very remote and off grid but had all the amenities you would need to stay. A propane stove top and refrigerator with a full bathroom and propane water heater that worked great. The road up to the property was long, windy but mostly paved. The last 1.5 miles was a dirt road but I was able to make it in my Class B+ RV without 4x4. I would highly recommend this stay!

Sarah and Liams place is serene and magical. accommodations were comfortable with all the basic amenities, and the dog was great company on a short hike down to the creek. we highly recommend staying at Dark Fairy.

Salmon Creek Mountain View Cabin

The cabin lodging was perfect for what we wanted-- a dry, comfortable spot from which to do some daily hikes and treks out in the local state parks! The amenities definitely met expectations and Sara was very kind in the time we had to speak together. Even during rainy season, it's worth a visit if you want something more remote. Seeing the Redwoods in the rain without having to go primitive to do so was great!

Wonderful people and area

My wife and I loved staying at Sara and Liam's property. It felt like we were far out but it was still easily accessible. Their beautiful cabin had everything we needed and with amazing views of the forest. They took the time to get to know us but still respected our privacy. Looking forward to staying there again.

Picturesque Pond Retreat

Beautiful and well-equipped tent!

The tent was incredibly well-equipped with a beautiful view. Sara was there to greet me even though I arrived later than expected, around 9pm. She also helped guide me to get my non 4WD car back up the driveway the next morning - I failed to listen to the instructions about not going down the driveway! Very grateful for the help and her hospitality.
