Discover the most magical spots to pitch your tent or park your rig on your next White Lake Provincial Park adventure.
One of the top angler lakes in all of B.C. and the only one with western painted turtles.
An excellent park for rainbow trout fishing, White Lake Provincial Park is frequented by anglers and flyfishers. The resident western painted turtles (the only native pond turtle left in BC) are also popular highlights typically found in shallow waters. Visitors also come for canoeing, birding, swimming, and boating, and stay in the undeveloped White Lake Campground, best suited for self-contained campers.
White Lake offers angling opportunities year-round, but the primary camping season runs from May 14 through September 30. Visit in summer to see painted turtles bask in the sun or go trolling around on the lake for rainbow trout. The park is accessible year-round except when the lake is frozen.
