Welcome to The Owl's Nest! We are situated on three acres on the outskirts of Grand Forks, and our little acreage is the perfect place to rest and access all of the exciting outdoor activities the region has to offer. The south side of the property is bordered by the Columbia and Western Rail trail, which provides access to Downtown Grand Forks by foot in about twenty minutes. The north side of the property is edged by the Kettle River, which offers a private beach that is well suited for cooling off during the hot summer days. There are beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, and the magical family of mature trees provides the perfect opportunity for observing the abundance of birds and wildlife that frequent the property throughout the day. From here you have easy access to biking, hiking, watersports, museums, shops, restaurants, scenic drives, and local tourist attractions. Make yourself at home, relax, and enjoy all of the offerings of the area. We are here to answer any questions you may have, and will do our best to steer you in the right direction!Casually set up your RV at our place and enjoy easy access to everything our beautiful area has to offer. We can accommodate vehicles under 30ft in length and the sites are flat. Water hookup is available.  If you enjoy the outdoors, you will never run out of places to explore here. There are endless hiking and biking trails in all directions. Grand Forks itself offers several restaurants, a brewery, art gallery, rec center, skate park, movie theatre and bowling alley. The Boundary Country as a whole has a rich history of mining and agriculture, and there are several museums in the area that highlight that history. There are remnants of the infrastructure scattered throughout mountains. Phoenix mountain has a self guided interpretive drive that is definitely worth checking out. Christina Lake, is only 20 Km away, and is home to beautiful views , swimming, watersports, and some epic biking. The Christina Lake Welcome center is definitely worth visiting to find out about things to do in the area, and enjoy a coffee and breakfast while you're at it. Every town along the highway here has something special to offer, there's just too much to list. Let us be your doorway into Boundary Country, it's really worth exploring!
