5 minutes from the Duncan Hospital, 7 minutes to downtown Duncan, 2 km to the Cowichan River, 22 Minutes to Lake Cowichan.
A perfect place to get out of the city, unwind, relax, rejuvenate. We are joyed to share with you Hearts and Hooves Farm Glamping Experience.
The Glamping tent has a double bed, surrounded by gardens, chickens, and nature. The cedar sunroom is your private area with a couch, table, coffee nook, and fridge. It is attached to our house and has a closed but shared door. You also have your own outdoor seating area with a dishwashing station and BBQ. The toilet is a composting outhouse, sanitized and tidy.
This is farm living! You will hear the roosters in the morning, the dogs and cat will be roaming, horses live on the property and sometimes you will hear the neighbor's cars going up their driveway. You will often find us working around the farm and playing with the horses.
If you are interested in exploring the property please let us know as our horses are often free range. We do have access to a lovely river and swimming hole right on the property with forests to explore. We are also just minutes from the Cowichan River and downtown Duncan.
We are located in Duncan, BC on Vancouver Island, about 1 hour from Victoria.
The glamping tent is meant for 2, but we do allow tenting in our lower field if you have a bigger group for $25/pp per night.
You have access to the left side yard with the tent and fire pit, back patio with the fence, cedar sunroom, and the chicken coop.
If you would like access to the field, forest, and river it MUST be arranged with us for everyone's safety with the horses.
Horses- do not feed the horses or go into the corral with them.
Firewood- It is $15 for firewood or to use the propane fire pit.
There is a hot water demand shower on site and there is access to the river on the property and the Cowichan River 2km away. Please only use environmentally friendly products.
