Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Utungen Freshwater Camp is a beef farm offering simple campsites by a freshwater river with shade trees and plenty of space. Just 15 minutes from the iconic Pub with No Beer in Taylors Arms, and 15 minutes to Macksville with pubs and clubs. A 30-minute drive from the beaches and river entrance of Nambucca Heads and Scotts Head. Plenty of room to spread out, find peace and privacy for your group, with even more space to play cricket! Enjoy splashing in the freshwater, or cosy up by your campfire. Tents, caravans and camper trailers welcome, however all campers must be self-sufficient with their own toilet and must remove their own rubbish. 4-Wheel drive access if pulling a caravan. Please note, we are a working beef farm and there is cattle in the paddocks.Pitch your tent, set up your caravan, motor home or camper, you will be 500 mts from anyone by a freshwater river. You're welcome to choose from a number of suitable camping areas in the grassy paddocks. Great option for groups as there is so much space! No amenities, so all campers must be self-contained with their own camp toilet, power and water, and take all waste when they go.
